Now to be fair, Campus PD in the US is notoriously bad about handling rape cases. I don't think anybody would want to deal with them. At the same time, refusing to work with them (indicating they were trying) and instead carrying out your own brand of vigilante justice to destroy his character isn't okay.

as i understand it, about 18 months after the fact she DID go to the police to file a report, but when they said it would take a long time she didnt pursue it any further. also, the accused rapist was not condemned by the university's investigation, yet they still allowed her to use the "performance piece" as her thesis and publicly labeled him a rapist in various on-campus anti-rape events.

he's got a lot of damning evidence to put her story to shame, so i think the school is gonna end up shelling out a fair bit of cash to him. justice may just be served this time
