It's literally the republican agenda to not teach kids scientific theories like evolution, the big bang, and global warming, so yes, they literally are responsible.
Not teaching about global warming is part of their corporate masters' agendas. I don't think they care as much about evolution or the big bang being taught or not because that's just religious dogma and their corporate masters' biddings always come first.
Fuck, I'm right-wing and I still hate Republicans. Dumbest, most anti-scientific, racist, xenophobic, sexist collection of people I've seen in my life.
You're blaming a really broad political party. All I'm saying is make it a bit more specific.
I think the word you're looking for is "conservative".
Broad? I don't think so. I think that they have something to do with the dumbing down of americans is all. I don't know "who" specifically, I just think the Republicunts have something to do with it.
Not really. Being a conservative is incredibly contingent on where you live. I'm probably a huge conservative here in England, but I don't think I'd be grouped with Republicans.
Yeah but education is done on the local level which allows the everyday overly religious conservitards the power to alter what the school teaches. Just under half the country believes in creationism, and the republicans have changed the curriculum in many places so that creationism has to be taught, or worse, that only creationism can be taught.
You'd be an independent in America. It's actually a big trend to be socially liberal and fiscally conservative and there are plenty of candidates who represent that. Although I find it really illogical since all fiscally conservative means is that you look out for the rich and fuck the poor, which is hardly being socially liberal.
Well regardless of how accurate that is, the republicans in America have a clear bias to protect the interests of the richest Americans over the middle class and poor.
Well that makes me feel better. When you call yourself a fiscal conservative you have no idea the negative thoughts that come to mind because of the republican party here in America.
