You know the guy who said gender and sex are different things (John Money) is fucking wrong and insane, right? His experiment on David Reimer trying to prove gender is a social construct failed and the guy committed suicide because of the shit done to him trying to make him think he was a female.
That doesn't change the fact that gender and biological sex are different things. Most of us are lucky and they correspond accordingly, yes, but transgender people's gender and sex don't. If sex and gender were the same thing, transgender people wouldn't exist. It just wouldn't be a thing.

Lots of mental diseases show that something is "wrong" with the person. You don't hate 'em for it just because you think they need treatment.
