What do ya know. Another God thread where atheists make fun of religious people!Fucking lowlifes.

It pretty much summed it up, I have plenty of anecdotal evidence for myself.

Whenever someone posts why they believe in God, you have 3 warrior atheists jumping out of the woodwork and making fun of them. You're an atheist? Thats all good. Do you. Why do you guys feel the need to ridicule every religious person?

Any time an atheist mentions something about the Pledge or "In God We Trust" on our money, for example, it's a problem for you.

Its not really a problem in my book, just slightly annoying that atheists have nothing better to worry about.

Its not really a problem in my book, just slightly annoying that atheists have nothing better to worry about. America is a secular nation. It should not have lines in the pledge devoted to something not everybody believes in. I pledge allegiance to my country, not a fairy tale. You want to be religious? That's fine with me, because I actually care about freedom. But do not think for a second that means your religion is important enough to be part of the pledge of to be on the money. Why not pledge allegiance to Zeus? No religion should hold power like that. If you impose your religion on me and I take it lying down, where does it end? America is the land of the free, not the land of the oppressive majority. Atheists should not to have to worship something they don't believe in, and those of other religions should not be forced to worship a god they don't believe in. Religion does not belong anywhere but in your homes, minds, and places of worship. It has absolutely no place in the miltary or government.
I do believe in a single god. A god that cannot be found in any religious text, nor any modern religion worships it. My faith is my own to muster, and the higher being I believe upon has no name, no human traits, knows nothing about fear, love, sadness and happiness. It's not a god that answers or cares about prayers, as it's not a god that perceives such human things. There's no god that I believe upon in truthfulness. Only my unending faith, my hopes, dreams, fantasies. That someday, somehow, I wish are realized. An image, an ideal, to simply counter my fears, nightmares and horrors, which I hope are never realized.I can't describe in a proper way for others to understand. My "god" is not a supreme being, but only, a congregation of my spiritual faith towards my spiritual tuning, for myself, by myself, and will start and ending with my petty lifespan that is all but a speck in the unending sequence, and relativity of time.
Yeah, I believe in God wholeheartedly. I'm not going to share the stories I have though. Pearls upon swine.

Too many occurrences have happened to the point where I simply cannot deny it. Not just that, but also all the people that temporarily die and are brought back to life. Why do they all talk about how they visited God and heaven while they were dead? I get that people make up stories, but there's so many stories like this coupled with the fact that even atheists wake back up as born again Christians. It's overwhelming evidence to me, and if you deny it you are simply in denial.

But it wasn't god. What about the kids that die at birth? You and me survived, but what about them? All part of his "divine plan"?You're seeing things that aren't there because you want to believe everything is going according to plan and the world isn't this chaotic mess with no reason or rhyme. Any visions you've had of god or anything you've heard that you think is god, you're imagining/exaggerating or you have some sort of mental problem. Maybe even a tumor.
But maybe that child's death finally broke the mother's hardened heart?Or caused the father to see that life isn't worth wasting?
