The overarching argument was, I'll admit, not inherently poor. I could debate it, but I'd do a poor job because I don't know much about the situation and, honestly, he had a very good summation.

Since gun control will be racist in effect since the wealthy can always buy government and target the poor who are disproportionately non-Asian minorities.

I really hate to admit the fact that, aside from the first minute and select comments across the video - mostly the "HURR DURR SOCIETY HATES WHITE MEN" bullshit - I can't really disagree with the overall message

Is he saying that gun control is racist because the typical safeguards and measures imposed by gun regulations pose disproportionately large obstacles for minorities who often can't or won't put in the time, effort and money it takes to legally and safely obtain a gun?

It's a legit trail of logical thinking, bro. I mean, my state had a voter ID law struck down in the courts because it "disenfranchised the low income population" (libbie code for minority voters) or some bullshit when the state government waived the (then 20 dollar) fee for printing a photo ID if you needed one because you didn't have one and wanted to vote. All you had to do was sign two papers and provide something along the lines of a Social Security card... which is honestly less than what you have to do to get on any welfare program. Nobody is being disenfranchised, except for maybe the deceased. 
Now with the right to bear arms there's a lot more regulatory fees and taxes that really can and do keep some of the poor from becoming firearms owners in areas where they might really want a defensive carry firearm.

Why does someone who claims to be a libertarian support the government taxing you for a photo ID they force you to have?

Owning a firearm and voting are not the same thing. At all.

I don't. State issued identification should be free and paid for by the taxes that I already pay, not by a marked up processing fee that I pay on site.
