Lived with a conservative family, and was molded into that mindset for a while. Crappy patriotism and all. Starting getting better educated, paying attention, and my opinion slowly shifted towards the middle and called myself independent. These days I probably fit the label of liberal, though I don't really identify as such. Parents seem to think college brainwashed me (haha).

The more I understand politics and how the government works, the more I absolutely despise it.

Oh god, my dad is a fan of him too...my mother is more partial to Glenn Beck. They pay to watch his show online since it's not on TV anymore... it's ridiculous.
