I don't think it's so much being "denied" as it is that some douchebag light colonel who's tired of not yet being a fullbird despite how lazy he is is just sitting on the paperwork.
Can't have anything happen in the military bureaucracy if some cunt sits on your paper.

Sad, but not a surprise when you look at how soldiers have been treated throughout history.

I don't give two fucks how veterans are treated, however I do give a fuck about trans rights. It's their right to be able to receive the treatment they need. The fact that sending her to prison wasn't enough, they're withholding the treatment that she needs. Makes my blood boil.

Well Manning is a veteran, so clearly you do care how at least one of them is treated.

What I'm saying is, this is just the latest case in a long line of society's indifference towards the soldiers it claims to venerate. Veterans with PTSD have been ignored for years, why should veterans with gender dysphoria be treated any different?

I care that she gets the treatment for her GD, I don't give two fucks what happens after she gets that. I don't like her, she's a veteran, but I have a bias respect for trans people.

Like I said maybe because I'm biased about the issue, if she wasn't trans I'd give her a pat on the back for leaking files and not lose a second of sleep over what happened to her after.

I doubt you'd understand.

War is, for the most part, manufactured by the ruling class to protect their property (edit: or to acquire more property). Soldiers usually come from the working class, and are either forced or manipulated into service.
