I'd say no, since racism has been going on for the entirety of human history it seems. It's as if there's always been some need for a scapegoat.

Racism against Africans and Jews has been going on forever, and is still going on, and with a slight reduction in racism against Africans and Jews being made up for by an increase in racism against Arabs and Muslims, then it just seems like that the cycle of racism will continue forever.

Yeah, I bet you if everyone except for say... white British people of English descent were eradicated, they'd just arbitrarily assign different races to eachother based on political beliefs and then use that to launch racist attacks.

Pretty much this. If they're different to them, they are wary. The next logical step is irrational fear, then hatred of them because of the difference.

We might get to a stage where public acts of racism are unheard of because of the majority's disapproval of it, keeping it only to their minds.

It's ridiculous that we're built that way, right? An old self-defence mechanism that no longer has purpose and now is just a hindrance to society as a whole.

There will always some kind of hatred between humans, since we are beings capable of great goodness and evil, and unfortunately evil seems to be a constant throughout history and I don't see it going away. Good needs evil and vice versa I guess.
