RNC: We support the original meaning of Title IX—that is to say, protection from sexual discrimination—and we oppose newer interpretations of it which redefine sexual discrimination to include sexual orientation and other categories. We believe that the various bathroom laws that use Title IX as their justification are illegal, dangerous, and ignore privacy issues. (42)
RNC: We condemn the ruling of Obergefell v. Hodges, and support the authority of the states to decide such issues. (18) We support the belief that traditional marriage—the marriage between one man and one woman—is the foundation for a free society, and believe that our government’s regulations should recognize it as such. (18, 38)
) We will appoint judges like Antonin Scalia, who will defend the inalienable right to life and the laws of nature and nature’s God, and overturn activist decisions like Roe v. Wade (right to abortion), Obergefell v. Hodges (right to same-sex marriage), and Obamacare. (17) We will restore to the Supreme Court a strong conservative majority. (17)
Daily reminder that the only conclusion of a godless or deistic universe is moral nihilism.
you must at least pretend there is a greater force you are subservient to.
It seems like it always comes down to "cooperate because it is useful to you", which isn't really morality at all.
sorry, folks, but some people just deserve to die
But the solution is to say, "god may or not be real but here are a set of vague abstractions we KNOW aren't real. Let's worship those instead"?I don't think so.

The amount of innocent people who have been executed is insane.
Anyone else find it bizarre how the Democrats are the ones banging their chest saying this country is great, and Republicans are saying otherwise?
As opposed to keeping them locked in a cage for the remainder of their life? It's cheaper, and the possibility of executing an innocent person is nonexistent. The amount of innocent people who have been executed is insane. For that reason alone the death penalty should be abolished.

You can't improve anything, it's all down to human error. If we could put robots in charge who would never make a mistake ever and only a guilty person would be executed, sure, take the motherfucker out back and put a hole in his face.
