We spend too much. Pensions, healthcare, everything. Population dynamics turn it on its head.

Which is why you can't socialise services without it becoming massively inefficient in the end. People ought to pay for themselves.

If I'm not here, I'm doing photography. Or I'm asleep. Or in lockdown. One of those three, anyway.

The current titlebar/avatar setup is just normal.
While it is a rather radical approach, I kinda agree with it.

But what age would be the cut-off point, where you'd have to pay for treatment yourself? How would you go about making it fairer (as obviously this system is a tad biased to the rich elderly compared to the poor)?

- Stop subsidizing pharmaceutical companies so that they can inflate the cost of medication.
- Stop protecting patents on breakthrough technologies at the benefit of the inventor and the detriment of technological advancement and everyone who can't afford to pay for treatments using those technologies.
