I just don't really agree with it, people with Downs don't have a life ruining disability, even some of the worst disabilities don't necessarily ruin people's lives. I can see the argument for things where the child is likely to die painfully and unpleasantly within a few years of their birth but I think it's wrong to assume that because people aren't born 100% healthy that their lives will be a miserable and bleak existence.I know it gets said endlessly when this topic of discussion comes up, but people with Downs are some of the happiest and loving people on the planet. You compare that with the sort of person who would deny them a chance at life because of how they are... I don't think that it's really alright to abort people because of a disability.To clarify though, that doesn't mean I oppose abortion with some blanket view, for some families it's the only option and demonising them for it is sickening. But yeah, I don't think that it is moral to abort people because they aren't going to be born fully able.

How exactly does this have anything to do with feminism? There really aren't that many pseudo-feminists with the agenda to eliminate women from the responsibility to legally intoxicate.
