The idea of being doesn't really bother me, it's just the actual dying bit that worries me.

If I'm not here, I'm doing photography. Or I'm asleep. Or in lockdown. One of those three, anyway.

The current titlebar/avatar setup is just normal.
Nope. I don't think about it, and I'm young, so I don't care.


What I'm afraid of is dying early. Anything below 80 and I'm going to be rather disappointed (and dead of course).

A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent.
I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita.
Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty
and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
"Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.."
I suppose we all thought that one way or another.

Somewhat, I'd prefer not to die and I'll go to great lengths to avoid it (As should most people) but I'm not going to worry myself into an early grave over the thought of dying.

The way I see it, when Death taps me on the shoulder - That's it. I'll be dead and I won't care, but I'm going to fight the bastard tooth and nail if I see him coming <.<

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.

For the time being, I'd prefer to hold on to my material things. But personally, I'm fascinated at what lies beyond, if anything. The only thing of real concern is how it happens. Over the years I've had a few close calls, and if I'd died from them, it would have been a shitty, painful way to go.
