Still doesn't especially count. It sort of pissed me off at first but now I don't really care; if anything it's beneficial.

As to why I flaunt it? I don't know. I did a lot at first since it was like this "new" thing coming in and upsetting my sense of identity, but my sense of identity fluctuates anyway so I'm not at all surprised when I gravitate to the idea of being a "psychopath" or whatever else it might be.

Also correlates a lot with my mood.

What's the difference between a psychopath and a sociopath exactly? I don't think I ever was taught a good answer for that in school.

Do you think having the condition has impaired you in any way, or given you unique insights into subjects ordinary people would struggle with?

Psychopathy is caused primarily by genetics/neurology, whereas sociopathy is caused more by environment. However, you'll get a mixture of causes in both of them. Psychopaths are usually considered to be more manipulative, more detached, less empathetic, less emotional whereas sociopaths are much more anxious and impulsive.

Not especially. I can step on people's toes sometimes but I think it also allows me to be fairly objective.

The other night I was walking past a canal to get home and there was this homeless lady sleeping nearby, I wondered if I threw her in would people it was just think it was suicide.

But seriously, were you surprised by the diagnosis? If not, how long did it take to come to terms with it?

I wasn't surprised, but I'm not a very surprise-able person. I think I over-compensated for it at first; now it just sort of comes and goes as an aspect of my personality.

I also realize ASPD isn't exactly a commonly self-diagnosed thing, but how would you feel if someone did that? I know I hate it when people say they're, "So OCD about x" or think that the jitters are equivalent to a panic attack, so I can't imagine you'd take it in stride.

Funnily enough malingering is a sign of ASPD, so somebody who actually knows they're malingering could be antisocial--or borderline. If they're worried about being antisocial, then they definitely aren't.

Doesn't really bother me, though.

Yeah, but the 'class' I actually have to take is just a session with a teacher who I'm actually really cool with, and who'll agree with me about the whole ordeal. So, nothing lost really.

Not really; I don't care enough when I do something wrong to use it as an excuse. When I do need an excuse, I can usually think of something better than "I'm a psychopath".
