I did vote but in hindsight, who should my vote have went to?

Sinn Fein - Good social and economical policies, for equality and all that stuff, but their leadership has blood on their hands and they never take their seats at Westminster.

DUP - NI's version of the GOP but with more bible thumbing. Capitalist Christians who hate gays, catholics and brown people.

SDLP - The labour party without a retard for a leader, a lot like Sinn Fein but without the bombs

UUP - Between the Tories and the DUP in terms of policies, also filled with murderers.

Alliance - "lets all hold hands and be friends"

UKIP - LOL fuck off.

SDLP sounds slightly less shit than the rest, but I'm guessing there is more to the picture?

Well they're not bad, considering all our parties are shit but I don't see them winning this seat. In the GE South Antrim has always went to the DUP or UUP :/

It's good to see that Sinn Fein has moved away from the whole IRA thing, though some of their party members are bit of a throwback from the troubles.

E.g. Martin Ferris was the Sinn Fein guy for Kerry before I moved, I lived about 5 mins down the road from him.

Well, I didn't take much political interest until I moved away, so I've only got old stuff to go on from what I knew while I was there.

McGuinness seems a bit more hardline to the old lot, so it would be good to see him go.
