The government has used porn in order to discredit radicals in the past, and almost half of the people of U.S.'s watchlist aren't connected to any terror group. Now, combine that with the suppression of free speech here in the U.K. . .

If you trust the government, you really are foolish. I do agree, however, that the tech companies have over-reacted to the whole affair.

I don't think you understand how the watchlist works. It's not a case of catching things thrown into a net, it's a case of the government actively placing non-threatening individuals on a watchlist.
