Corbyn calls for closer ties with Russia, and thinks there is some kind of NATO conspiracy responsible for the Ukrainian crisis.

YouTube

He thinks terrorist organisations should have a platform.

Looks like he still keeps in contact with his Sinn Fein pals, a political party with close relations to the IRA.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/jeremy-corbyn-criticised-by-victims-families-after-failing-to-condemn-the-ira-10442683.html
Obviously still thinks the IRA was justified by dancing round an explicitly concise question.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3187428/Jeremy-Corbyn-s-links-notorious-Holocaust-denier-revealed.html
His past relations with Holocaust deniers is now beginning to crop up.

Now, I'm willing to concede that a lot of this is surrounded by media sensationalism in the wake of a newly elected Labour leader, but fuck man, it's hard not see this guy as the leftist equivalent of Nick Griffin.

You will find out who you are not a thousand times, before you ever discover who you are. I hope you find peace in yourself and learn to love instead of hate.
He's not wrong, instead of constantly bombing each other into oblivion why not hold peaceful talks? How is there anything wrong with that?

Peaceful talks with a terrorist organisation that has nothing to do with the sovereignty of any of the countries involved? How is that in anyway productive?

This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper.

Because these people--unlike China and the Russians--are not rational actors. We're dealing with people like ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah and al-Qaeda and they operate in an intellectual framework where martyrdom is a moral choice and Armageddon is a solution because those who are righteous will go to Paradise and those who are wicked will burn in hellfire, and to them this is a perfect equilibrium.

I've no doubt you could get short-term concessions from some kind of leadership class within these groups, but they are not viable going into the future. We're fundamentally dealing with a group of people riddled with theocrats who are actually willing to hit the wall at 400mph.

But Hamas and Hezbollah don't officially run any countries, if that's what you're referring to. I mean, they hold a lot of political leverage, but they're not actual governments by any means.

How can you arrange diplomatic relations with a terrorist organisation that A) doesn't hold any official political power, and B) wants to systematically exterminate an entire group of people because their holy tome tells them so?

Jeremy Corbyn has claimed that 9/11 was "manipulated" to make it look like Osama Bin Laden was responsible to allow the West to go to war in Afghanistan.

In comments that will raise questions about his suitability to lead the Labour Party, Mr Corbyn appeared to blame George Bush and Tony Blair for using the September 11 attacks in New York to allow them to go to war.

In a series of further articles, Mr Corbyn also appears to endorse controversial conspiracy theories about a “New World Order”.

Mr Corbyn was heavily criticised in the days before winning the Labour leadership after suggesting that the death of Osama Bin Laden was a “tragedy”.

So...is this guy like, your Donald Trump, Englanders?

If I'm not here, I'm doing photography. Or I'm asleep. Or in lockdown. One of those three, anyway.

The current titlebar/avatar setup is just normal.
Not really seeing the problem with the Sinn Fein link here. Sure they were the political arm of the IRA, but that age is dead and gone. Now there's just some fuck-up wannabes, and then the old tired fuckers in politics.

And as for supporting the IRA, I can't find an outright quote for that anywhere. I get refusals to outright condemn them which is pretty easy to see refusal to condemn one over another=/=support, but I got this, though:
Quote
He was asked on the politics show if he was less critical of IRA violence than British military action.

Mr Corbyn said: "The violence was wrong on all sides and I have said so all along. My whole point was if we are to bring about a peace process, you weren't going to achieve it by military means."

Not sure about the other points or his political beliefs in general, but I'm not jumping on this hate bandwagon juuuust yet.
