I'd wager that the black community leaders taking part in BLM are probably some of the most influential in the fight against black-on-black crime, too. I agree they've latched on to several high-profile cases that don't represent the systemic racism they're talking about, but that doesn't mean it isn't prevalent.

Firstly, you can drop the condescending tone, thanks.

Secondly, I did not say BLM had to encapsulate every issue the black community currently endures. I said considering that the movement is literally called "Black Lives Matter" you would think black on black crime would be at the top of their list seeing as how it is a substantially larger problem that kills more black males than racial hate crime does.

I'm not sure how to explain it any better. It's a pointed criticism of the legal system's neglect of judicial equality -- a succinct way of explaining their platform. The main criticism you have is of the phrase itself, as if that's what really matters here. It's not.
