Fact is they don't care. They only want to be involved when it's something racial so they can be on TV and feel important and feel like they're resisting oppressors or some shit.
It's pretty fucking tragic too, because all the spokespeople and the movements that allegedly fight for the issues within the black community all turn out to be huge fucking frauds or mendacious characters.

E.g. Rachel Dolezal, Jesse Jackson, Shaun King. What is it about the BLM that is attracting all these disingenuous people?

I talked about something along those lines with somebody sometime back. The movement seems like a card up somebody's sleeves to play at this point.

It's like a big fake self pity train maybe. Black communities running around being asshats and then waving the white flag so to speak as soon as there's trouble.

Okay, you can simultaneously recognize that institutionalized racism does exist in many parts of America, which is the main platform of #BLM, and that there is a serious trend of black-on-black crime that the community and the nation needs to be concerned about. They're not mutually exclusive. Of course people only say "black lives matter" when a white person kills them; that's literally what the movement is about.

I'm curious as to why it doesn't seem to want to address the most pertinent issues facing the black community. Not to mention that a lot of its members consist of mendaciously suspicious characters.

Of course, racial hate crime against blacks is a problem, that pretty much goes without saying. But welfare and black on black crime are the two biggest problems irreparably damaging the black community right now, and yet BLM never seem to want to tackle them.

Few months back in downtown Los Angeles, a black cop shot a black homeless man and the whole thing was filmed by a bystander. The news talked about this for about a day and never talked about it ever again.

If it was a white cop that shot him, I bet the news would still talk about this in discussions about cops.

There are racists in every ethnicity around the world. I have noticed that recently a lot more of the black people (mainly women) are more aggressively racists towards me. However, it's not like they're calling me "wacka cracka white girl" or anything stupid like that (which that was an actual insult screamed at me by a crazy homeless woman), but how they're being racist towards me is more subtle. Instead of name calling (which usually doesn't bother a lot of whites) they accuse me of being racist for not getting on my knees like they see fit.

For example:

This past Saturday I was working a very busy shift. We were understaffed, but I had two partners on the registers, two baristas, and I was hopping between register and bar support to keep the line moving fluidly. Two of our regulars came in to get their usual hot drip brew coffee with heavy whipping cream. I grabbed their coffees and met them at the hand off plane, turned around to grab the heavy whipping cream, and I noticed another regular who appeared to be very agitated. I greeted her by name, and she went off on me. She was enraged that my two white regulars (who got drip brewed coffee) got their drinks before her handcrafted beverage, because they were privileged for being white, and that we were servicing them over her because she's black and we're racist. She then proceeded to tell me over and over again that she hopes I trip at work, and are sent home early. >.>

All because my white ancestors owned black slaves and not white slaves.
