IIRC we already allow jewish courts (I forget the name) to proceed over religious matters/marriages so I can see the more compatible aspects of sharia being permitted - I just hope that it's the same deal as the jewish courts where British law takes overall precedence and thus forbids anything like stoning people for this that and the other.
