Should society really accept being fat? I can agree with them to an extent that they shouldn't be hated on for being fat. But when it comes down to excepting it we shouldn't. If you're someone that's able to loose weight there's no reason for you not to and there's no reason for someone to be letting them self go like that. Nobody that is fat should be excepted by people or find it OK for them to be overweight or obese when they pound down McDonald's everyday. Look at the image below. Sure it's healthy for you to be OK with your body, but loving your fat body. Lets be real here. Nobody that is that fat is loving their fat body. It's like she's saying that because she's too lazy to help herself.

I don't think people should be treated any different for it. But shouldn't be given special treatment either.

I'm sick of that platitude. Most fat-shaming exists only on the Internet, and on the Internet, if you're not fat, people will just find other things about you to make fun of.  The other prejudice is the sex thing. If you're fat, you're... pretty disgusting to look at naked, and less people will want to fuck you. Which shouldn't really matter that much to anyone, in my opinion, but we live in an irrational society of sex-craved morons, so whatever. Let's pretend I was a sex-craved moron, too. I still think it's a rational rejection--there's no compelling reason to have sex with some fat person, because they're gross and they don't take care of themselves. Is that shallow? Yeah, big time. But no one should have to compromise their standards just to be "nice"--and I use that very loosely.

Fat acceptance is a terrible idea, all you're doing is supporting terrible lifestyle choices. What next? Coke addict acceptance? Smoker Acceptance? Alcoholic Acceptance? it's a load of shit, and this special snowflake BS should stop.

Being fat is acceptable but shouldn't be encouraged.

Acceptance movements should be based on a concept a person can't control, such as being a certain skin color or sex. Being fat IS something you can control; it's called going to the gym and eating smart, you don't have to do all these crazy diets to loose weight. Instead of taking self-responsibility for their actions, people instead form excuses to continue a shitty life style

This is going to sound terrible of me, but I actually like there being more fat people. It makes me look 10x better wherever I go because I am tall, lean, and muscular while many people walk around content with being fat, sneaking glances at me when I wear clothing that emphasize my physique while they try to pull their shirts over their belly buttons
