Currently, for me, the answer is yes. However I'm sure if you ask me again at a later date it might be a no.

Death is natural. It's an inevitable wall that everybody has to face. Its prospects are frightening because we really don't know what the fuck it is. Or, mainly, what or if there's something beyond it. Either prospects nothing, or something, are frightening.

I know what it's like to exist almost being dead. You put your head down and close your eyes and there's nothing. I woke up with no recollection of anything, or even the passage of time. The prospect of hitting a switch and suddenly losing everything you've ever known, is no pun intended, grim.

Is it the worst? Not exactly. Because we all have to make that jump eventually, regardless.

But there are states for people where death is prefferable. States to exist in where death would be a kindness.

Is it the worst?

No. It's not peachy either. Let's face it. The prospect of losing all you know? Not a very good feeling.

But I certainly wouldn't say it's the absolute worst.

No. That's like bottom of the list of worst things. Closer to the top of best things.

No. Death itself cannot be a harm. It can, however, produce harmful consequences.

There's far worse things that could happen to you where death would be preferable.

It is up there, yes. I don't think death is the start of some new adventure. It's just the end of everything we ever had, could and knew. It is the end of our existence. There are no second chances, repeats or a "tomorrow".

But, there are situations where you're probably better off dead. Insufferable and incurable pain that makes any sort of quality living impossible, for one.

It would only be a bad thing if we could be deprived of existence, which is logically impossible.

The phrase, "There are some things worst than death" is very true.. Such as suffering a slow and agonizing death.
