Profile pics? Just look up an image you like, then copy the URL of that image and BAM!
You've got that as your avatar. Or you can upload your own.

Google Images of something I like (TV or film character/actor, game character) then modify it with GIMP.

An example would be my avatar right now. This guy don't exist with a green shirt if you searched "Mark Lilly" anywhere.
Plus Ryle did an MLG makeover thread, and well I couldn't turn that down...

The avatars I use aren't just on Google. There's only a handful of good Azula pics on the open web.
