Makes way more sense to have the edit button replace the like button instead of replacing it and then being randomly flipped with another button

yeah but they should at least be consistent whether you're looking at your post or someone else's

In terms of placement, the only thing that should be different is replacing like with edit. Everything else should be the same

My theory is that it has to do with the order of how the script for the like feature is loaded.

Yes and no. Cheat's mainly handling this, I am still working on the new version of the navbar.
