Suggestion: Make Serious a "non-shitposting/autism" board

Rather than just super serious topics, why not have it be a place for genuine discussion?

Making a discussion thread in The Flood almost always turns to shit.

That's what the flood is for. Recently I've try to deter from shitposting because I want actual discussions but others don't really allow it.

Actually, we're considering making Serious only for Religion and Politics (And stuff that may closely relate, such as war)

Yes. Just move shitpost topics to the Flood, have a board for people who don't want their threads derailed with shitposting and stuff. IT's so annoying when you make a long post and it gets buried under spam.

Rather than deluding the overall quality of the flood I'd say just moderate it better with a lower tolerance for spam/shitposting.
