I think it should be banned because of the possible legal shit it can cause. It's being looked at in more detail because of the possible legal implications, not because certain members think it's gross.

It's no possibiliy, it's an objective fact. Canada, Australia, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the UK are only a handful of examples of places where it is illegal.

Therefore, lolicon, shotacon, and cartoon pornography in general are not included.

This law can be used against lolicon but it has not been tried in that aspect yet.

It is true that for Cheat and the forum itself, it is the location of the server that matters. But by hosting content that is illegal in a whole bunch of other countries, including the UK and Australia, you are effectively endangering people from those countries, as they could potentially be prosecuted for simply coming here and having pictures stored in their browser's cache. Keeping in mind that we have pretty big plans for this forum, as discussed in the thread about Septagon's future, it seems like we'd be better off banning these pictures rather than openly allowing content that is illegal in the two countries (the US aside, of course) that provide the most members, being the UK and Australia.

If we want to expand and ultimately become a larger forum with a continuous stream of quality content, hosting images showing drawn child pornography that are both morally disgusting to most and downright illegal for some, just seems like a terrible idea for publicity and our image.

It is. Cam's booty threads are one thing, but down right cartoon child porn is completely different. To the new users or users that know about this site it would make us seem like we're nothing but pedophiles and perverts. If it was up to me I say any type of porn(Besides nudes and half.) should be banned. We should try to make this site as classy as we can.

@BerzerkCommando (sorry cant quote on mobile), I don't think personal nudes should be allowed either, there are too many under 18s and whats to stop people lying about their age? I heard something similar happened a while ago on bnet and the police were involved, I dont want this site attracting any kind of negative attention that could get it shut down
