Post here your thoughts, and ideas for the Sep7agon.net rules. Which can be found here. Be mindful of the last update date.

The only thing I'd like to add is that moderators actually enforce the rules and not to be scared to be viewed in a negative light by a user just because they're doing their job.

I understand not dropping the hammer on a first time offender, but the rules are there for a reason, after a point it stops being a case of "mods being nice" and turns into "the rules bind the moderator's hands and force complacency".

Other than that it seems to be a solid ruleset.

I think it should stay the way it is. It looks kinda retarded upside down.

I don't think it's slated to change (It's designed to look and match the feel for Sep7agon 2.0, the podcast logo, and the Youtube channel), so yeah.

We know there has been complaints about mods not banning or warning offenders, which is why warning status was made viewable to everyone.

The mods don't always post in that thread that they're warning/banning someone (and instead use the auto-PM feature) so yeah, I get why it would look like nothing is being done. Hopefully that will change with the visible warn states.

Just remember to be considerate of what you are posting, in what threads. Derailing threads, from anyone, will still lead to locking.

But you guys, most of the time, do not post images or .gifs related to the context of the thread or posts in it. You just spam the thread and keep replying to each other with a ton of anime images. You get so defensive over it too.

Let's try not to cast too many generalisations over past and possible future events, if this does occur then point it out and it will be dealt with. It could just be me, but I haven't actually seen this outside of an explicitly anime related thread in a while.

It was on track, until warnings started being given out for literally no reason. I guess since that part is over, it can now get back on topic.

You aren't perfect or immune from the rules.
Please don't accuse us for enforcing them.
