Click the more arrow on the right of a users message. Hit message user, from there you'll be taken to another page where the is a 'personal messages' link at the top left of the page.

Thats where you go....so far this is the only method I know.

Click on the septagon logo and then really quickly click the little post icon that drops down underneath while it loads up the main page.

That's how I reach it on my phone, anyway.
