Usually the same issue. The work around I have found is to just hold down until the page stutters/doesn't force animation and then I can get to the stuff.

Looks like the issue I was having was fixed after a power cycle of my Phone.

The button is extremely tiny and it was better how we had it before.

I agree that it should be edited a bit and moved over to the row of other icons.
