Bans are based on warning level. When your warning level gets too high, you get banned.

You're thinking of a blacklist, which is a different thing--that's when all your posts get hidden, regardless of warning level.

also your italics meme isn't funny stop trying to force it

A) I don't care, if you get banned it shouldn't say you got a warning

B) It's not a meme, it's an actual issue. Have you seen a single site or program that has as weak of italics as this site? You can literally barely even see the slant. It might not be a fiasco, but it's definitely something that needs fixing.

We have a series of templates when giving a warning that fills out all the information for us (user name, thread link, etc) when we are applying a warning to an account. I chose to use the Spoiler template because it linked to the thread in question that you were lite-banned for, which is already drafted to write "You have been warned"

I could have changed it manually, but tbh I'm lazy.

If you're wondering, there is a lite-ban template that does say "You have been banned". However, I don't believe that template links to the thread that you were banned for. So, I'm not a fan of using it.

Lite-Bans are the ones that get a message, as it's through the warning system. We can select to not send one with it, but we generally do.

Regular Bans and up go through a separate system, and doesn't notify through a PM.
