Why?

Every other forum lets you do it, including Bungie. Even other forums using SMF let you accept it, but this one says no. Will there ever be a change to this?

Come on guys, it's almost 2016 and this is still a problem. Now I know I can just copy the url from the address bar, but I don't like to work hard. Besides, I'm so use to grabbing a link from the share link and every website allows this expect this one.
