I want a believeable game world, not an edgy grey and green themepark.

This is a Bethesda Fallout, so I already know what we're getting.

But businesses should have the right to turn away anyone they want!
Enforcing morality at gunpoint via the use of the state is undoubtedly more reprehensible than a handful of gays being denied services from a couple of caterers.
well looks like i found another door alt

I dont know why Cameron is getting extra flak for this. I mean yeah, I can see it being an infringement on speech, but the fucking SNP have criminalized sectarian songs at fucking football matches in Scotland, and nobody says a word about it.
Scots aren't people and therefore lack free speech rights

“For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens: as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone. It’s often meant we have stood neutral between different values. And that’s helped foster a narrative of extremism and grievance."

David Cameron

A counter-terrorism bill including plans for extremism disruption orders designed to restrict those trying to radicalise young people is to be included in the Queen’s speech, David Cameron will tell the national security council on Wednesday.

The measures would give the police powers to apply to the high court for an order to limit the “harmful activities” of an extremist individual. The definition of harmful is to include a risk of public disorder, a risk of harassment, alarm or distress or creating a “threat to the functioning of democracy”.

They would include a ban on broadcasting and a requirement to submit to the police in advance any proposed publication on the web and social media or in print. The bill will also contain plans for banning orders for extremist organisations which seek to undermine democracy or use HATE SPEECH in public places (like the internet).

As the party of one nation, we will govern as one nation: “Freedom of speech. Freedom of worship. Democracy. The rule of law. Equal rights regardless of RACE, GENDER or SEXUALITY".

I have a lot of trouble seeing how Christianity can make people happier. The idea of an unending, infinitely powerful dictator is terrifying to me.

Because us Christians don't see God as a dictator.
well yeah the Nazis didn't see Hitler as a dictator either

I hardly see the problem with it when the creator of said work intended the character to serve erotic purposes. Unless you're saying that that is stupid on the creator's part, in which case I agree. I just see nothing immoral about it.
i also wouldn't use a retarded word like "immoral"
we should throw the word "morality" out because it's garbage

anyway, no, it's not even about morality
how can you agree with me and say that it's stupid on the creator's part and not concede that sexual objectification is a problem
because eroticism throws off the balance of a serious work and fucks with it.

I see no problem with sexual objectification unless someone is directly harmed, or it leads to harrassment. Objectification is not guaranteed to lead to either of these things.

god forbid we treat a fictional character as an object
yes

treating characters like objects for erotic purposes in a work of art that is otherwise meant to be taken seriously is stupid
I hardly see the problem with it when the creator of said work intended the character to serve erotic purposes. Unless you're saying that that is stupid on the creator's part, in which case I agree. I just see nothing immoral about it.

Although I have trouble seeing how anyone can take MGS seriously.

Sex-negativity is literally retarded, Verb.

There's nothing wrong at all with celebrating sexuality or sexually idealized bodies, especially in fiction.
lol yeah there is

You're all forgetting there are similar parts on the Big Boss figure as well, notably his ass.

These foam parts are there to make movement of the joints smoother and more pleasant, not for eroticism.

Fuck my error-checking today.
