But it was the plural form: mandarijnen

It  is quite a difficult word to pronounce if you say it as a native English speaker. You must separate the word correctly mandA/rijn/en with the -ij sound being kinda like -eh, -uh and the Fonz' ay mixed together. And the second -a has more emphasis than the first one.

Your poor little bubby! Breaks my heart.
Bubby? Are you Jewish?
No

Are you confusing bubby with bubula?

« on: February 10, 2017, 02:35:49 PM »
My first round of exams over here was incredibly stressful. I broke down and cried a few times. I was so afraid of failing. Flee helped by picking up some of the slack, and by also insisting to me that the world was not ending just because the house was not in perfect order. You should definitely set some boundaries with your family. If that doesn't work, is there any place else that you can study?

How'd you get to know a bunch of DoC workers? Family?
Went to university with some people that now work there.

So, a woman over 25 is past her prime?
Yes. Gotta marry before you're a Christmas cake, hun
Know anyone that likes holiday desserts?

Nah. A woman's prime moves with your age. 25 is only the prime until you hit 35. Then you realize that 25 year olds still have too much drama
Glad to hear that I am not yet some useless throw-away, or may never be based on what you said. :)

I am actually sad. I have always been very critical of my home country and its politics, but this is the first time I have ever been ashamed of being an American.
I can't say I agree at all and honestly I have very little respect for Americans that leave America.

Sure, this is a shameful day for America. But the fact is we had Obama for two terms. I have yet to see that happen in Europe or the UK. I have yet to see the rags to riches stories you see in America in other countries.

America is the greatest nation on earth, and trump can't change that.
To say that you have "very little respect for Americans that leave America" is really quite stupid. I didn't leave America because I hate America. Plenty of Americans leave for work or relationships or whatever. And you don't have to agree with me, because I am saying that I, meaning me, am feeling ashamed, not that other Americans should feel so.

Aren't you an American that lives outside of America? Or is that someone else in here?
Yeah but you clearly dislike America enough to leave. It's no secret Flee doesn't like America either no matter how he tries to masquerade it.

That's my point, I think that's fucked up. Unless you have something really important to take care of I don't respect it.
Clearly? I left because it made the most sense for me to move to Belgium. He was completely willing to make that move to America. However, my degree was transferable, whereas his was not. The decision to leave was based on careful consideration of our finances and our future aspirations. As we could more easily and with less financial strain achieve all the things we wanted in Belgium than in the US, I left. My personal feelings about my country had nothing to do with it.

Leaving the US and living in another country for a job is not a really important reason. Do you have no respect for those people as well? What about the American citizens that run US embassies all over the world? I mean, what is "really important" is so subjective.

I do not like Trump, and I think people were foolish to believe some of his campaign promises, but I do hope for positive change. Be merry Americans. <3
Honestly, all MAGA-Memeing aside, what you said is true. And it's also why Trump's slogan is contradictory. The fact that you can be a billionaire and say the most absurd, crazy, outlandish bullshit and people will still buy your stuff, shows true greatness.

Implying that Murica' isn't already great. HOW DARE YOU!

Perhaps:
-EU trade policy/the inter-workings of EU trade agreements
-Art history
-Gardening
-Cooking or Baking

I don't know enough about the people in here to say any of this with certainty.

That was great.

Perish.

Trump himself ain't gonna shake up shit, and I don't think anyone really believes that
Eh, I have to disagree. I know several Americans in real life who are actually going to vote for Trump because they believe he's going to shake things up and get rid of evil politics in Washington. And these are actual voters. Not reddit trolls or stupid teenagers who are too young to vote but still post dumb shit on the internet for the memes.
He is legit talking about my family. Some hardcore Trumpinators.

Yes, but I'm currently locked into the trade. You need to back out of it so I can choose a new pokemon to trade.

Are you on right now?
We can try to arrange a time for us both to be on within the next few days if you would still like one. What time zone are you in?
Eastern
Alright. Well, I'm 6 hours ahead of you and will be available for the next 4 hours or so. Just post you FC, tell me what IV you prefer to not be perfect, and then send me a trade request when you feel like trading.
Ugghh i had class
How about Saturday or are you on now?
I am on now.

I don't get why people care about a Pokemon having 6 ivs. 5 is good enough, because Pokemon usually have a redundant stat or two.
I don't battle, but I have friends that do, so I breed for 6IVs for them.

Sure, I'll take one. I can give either a minor legendary for it or I think I have some extra flawless competitive mons left over if you want one of those.
Cool. I have no preference. Just post your FC, and let me know which IV you don't mind not being perfect. Then send me a Trade Request when you are ready. My FC is in the OP.
FC is 5172-1413-3902

I'd prefer if the SpA was the non-perfect stat.
Got it and added. Ready when you are.

Sure, I'll see what I have to trade in a few minutes
Alright, just post your FC. I will be on for a while.
Ok, would also mind evolving it into Scizor (if you have a metal coat, I can give you a spare)

And I have:
Eevee - Bold - Superior potential in Attack, Defense, Special Attack and Special Defense
Charmander - Adamant - Superior Potential in Attack, Defense, Special Attack and Speed (with Flare Blitz and Dragon Dance too)

My FC is 3282-6443-3606
It doesn't matter what you give me. I don't have an extra metal coat, so you can trade it to me with a Pokemon, I'll give it to the Scyther, and trade it back to you.

Do you have a preference of which IV isn't perfect?

My FC is in the OP.
Added you, I'll give the metal coat with Charmander, just give me a shitmon when we trade that, and then I have no preference with the Scyther
Okay. Just send me a Trade Request when you are ready.
