There's some sick specs there

how much was it??
I spent about $450 on the CPU and motherboard. My dad helped me out with the rest and he got my GPU for free on my birthday.

Oh, and might I add that before building a PC and before I got my own debit card, I was totally under the impression that the Steam sales that take money straight from your wallet that the community freaks out about all the time were just jokes.
Never have I been so wrong in my entire life. Needless to say, I'm broke as hell now.

It took some time to save up for it, but I finally got it built. I'm pretty content with the way it turned out. Add me on Steam if you guys want to play some time. I've got a plethora of games including GTA 5, Arma 3, Arma 2, H1Z1, Black Mesa, Garry's Mod, and every single Valve game.

Steam ID (avatar is the same one as on these forums): Legit 8-Bit

PC Specs:
-ASUS Z97 PRO
-Intel i7 Processor Devil's Canyon 4.0 GHz
-256GB SSD
-2TB HDD
-Nvidia GTX GeForce 560 (hoping to save up for the 970 soon) graphics card
-Apevia ATX-CB700W PSU
-DVD drive
-Black case (can't remember what kind)
-8GB RAM

My father helped me out with my build because he's an IT guy and has been working on computers for many years. I was only able to buy the motherboard and CPU myself, but fortunately, my dad came through and helped me out with everything else. Also, gave me the graphics card for my birthday which was a couple days ago.

Are you still there?
Hell to the fucking no, abandoned that shithole a LOOONG time ago. The only person I still talk to from Bnet is Noble 6.

Are you happy with the way this place turned out?
Pretty much, yeah. I don't have any problems with it.

Anything besides the nazis that you're unhappy about?
Only thing I can think of is that I find very little incentive to post here anymore, let alone lurk or take part in any threads. It's mainly just my problem because I kind of lost interest after a while.

I've heard that the boss at the end of the first Dead Island was pretty hard. Not for me though, because I killed him with one shot.
Granted that I might've used a modded shotgun with unlimited ammo that was a one shot kill on every zombie variant in the game.

Tip top fucking cancer.

I'd probably end the writer of the game's life.

Also, there's been speculation that if you play 4 player co-op, you'll be able to play as everyone in Blue Team/Locke's Squad, like how they used Elites as playable characters in Halo 3's campaign. If that is true, I don't know how 343 would go about killing one of them off.

i would have liked to stay a bit longer stay with the dying man for a  while longer. his death didnt carry any meaning to me as a reader because of how short his appearance had been. he was around for a page and we didnt see much of his personality, the narrator just kinda glossed over everything and moved on.

tl;dr: show, dont tell.
I updated the monologue so it shows more meaning to his death. I also fixed most of the grammatical errors I could find.

I'm a bit intrigued.

I would have to say yes, I think that could turn out pretty great. Exploring with friends in the ruins of Russia sounds like it would be a ton of fun.

I know right. A day/night cycle would be neat too, more dangerous mutants would come out and you'd have to spend the night in the tunnels.
What if there was a day/night system like Dying Light's where if you didn't make it back into the tunnels, before the sun went down, you'd have to brave the harsh conditions of the night? Weather would be more violent, radiation could be pushed into different areas by the wind, and the threat of more mutants would be present as well.
