Gaming / Re: If the next Pokemon games removed Stealth Rock
« on: May 10, 2015, 11:22:46 AM »
I'd be happy. I tend not to use it, but it bothers me that I have to worry about everyone else using it. Spikes, Toxic Spikes and Sticky Web are ok (the two spike moves more so than web), but rocks suck.

I mean, it can take away up to half of a Pokemon's HP just by having them switch in? Fuck you, Roark. Why couldn't you just give us Rock Tomb instead?

Yeah, Nintendo went and dun broke the thing that I used to gen stuff. Sorry.

This does remind me that I still have a few people's Pokemon that I haven't given them yet. I should be able to get on after 4:30 pm EST tomorrow, or after 1:30 pm EST on Friday, or whenever on the weekend.

Any of those times work for you guys?

Gaming / Re: 2nd Sep7agon Pokemon Tournament *TWO WEEKS LEFT*
« on: April 24, 2015, 06:24:35 PM »
perhaps the summer would be the best time to host these tournaments
Yeah, that's what I had been thinking. I've also learned that Round Robin, although more fair, has been shown in the past two tournaments to not to be the best format since we've been having the issue of people not having enough time to complete their battles. The next one might need to be bracket-based.
I agree with the timing thing. My schedule has been very full because of finals, but I have so much free time in the summer that getting all of my battles done would not be an issue at all.
Think you can get all your battles done in the next 2 weeks?
All of them? Most likely not. I might be able to get at least a few done in this coming week, but after that is finals, and that's when my free time becomes all but nonexistent.

I'll try my best to get as many done as I can when I have the time to do so, though.

My schedule has been getting really busy lately, so I don't think I'll be able to find the time to do any of the battles I have left (which is most of them). Sorry.

Sorry, I opened up my Showdown app instead of the browser version, and my teams aren't the same on them (for some reason). I sent you a new challenge.

Mewtwo's cool, but I doubt I'll ever use him. I never use anyone but my main, and I doubt anyone but Wonder-Red would be able to change that.

Quoting people to get their attention is a good idea.
I've only fought one person so far (you), so that's a lot of people that I'd have to quote, and I'm really lazy.

STAB body slam from my Snorlax makes me wet.
Nah, man. Snorlax's best STAB move is Metronome.

I know that defensive Eviolite Golbat is a great Super Fang user.

I'm personally a big fan of Belly Drum, but only on Slurpuff. Otherwise, I really like moves that do recoil damage (Head Smash, Flare Blitz, Brave Bird, etc). The damage they inflict to the opponent is usually worth their recoil (unless you're using Tyrantrum. No-recoil STAB Head Smash > ).

Whenever you're all ready, I have your stuff ready to trade. I don't think I'll be able to get online anymore today, but I should be able to get on early in the week.

Everything that has been asked for has been genned, and I downloaded the update. I'll be online for a few hours, if anyone can get on for me to give them their stuff.
I'll be on in about 2-3 hours if you'll be available then.
OK. I'll be on in around two hours, then. Just shoot me a trade request when you get on.

Ok. I'll gen these last two, and then I'm going to download the update which will let me go online to trade all of these (and remove my genning capabilities). I should be online sometime tomorrow to trade. If not, I'll definitely be on early next week.

I want to see Scalebound gameplay. Platinum Games has quickly become one of my favorite developers, and I need something that will actually make me want to use my Xbox.

Due to the recent update to both the 3DS and OR, as soon as I go online to trade (which will require me to download both updates, which I have not yet done), I will lose my ability to gen. As this is the case, I'm going to say that I'm not going to take any more request (after the ones that have already been made. I'll still make those last few that you just asked for, Luis). It also might be a little while before I get online, because I might find stuff that I still want to gen before I can't do it anymore. I promise that everyone will get their Pokemon by this weekend at the latest, though (sorry to keep you all waiting). If I can get on sooner, I'll post about it.

That being said, if you have one or two more requests, and I haven't already genned a lot of stuff for you, I'll squeeze those into my schedule and have them ready by the time that I am able to trade.

After everything is traded, I'm not really going to need this thread anymore, so I guess someone can lock it. No point in having a genning request thread if you can't gen anything.

There ought to be a petition to take some characters out.

I vote Dark Pit.
And Dr. Mario. And Lucina should go back to being a Marth costume.
And Lucario. He had his time to shine in Brawl. Give us Blaziken/Swampert/Sceptile!

Wonder-Red is the only valid answer, other than the other valid answers (but he's the most valid).
