I owned an electronic keyboard when I was younger and learned how to play a few songs on it. It quit working at some point and I never bothered to get a new one.

Now? A normal piano or the drums would be neat. Learning to properly sing would be cool, too.

Irish, Hungarian gypsy, and some Native tribe (I think Cherokee and/or Blackfoot, I don't recall) on my mother's side. Norwegian and Swedish on my father's side. German and English from both.

I'd wager I'm mostly of Irish descent, however, given that a huge part of my mother's family is still predominantly "pure blood," and she's only two generations removed from that branch.

The Flood / Re: Favorite Beer. List them.
« on: October 04, 2015, 01:35:38 AM »
I've had a lot of good beers, but some I can't remember, since they were bought on a whim during trips. Which is a shame, because they were really good

Lost Abbey's The Ten Commandments
Elysian's Bifrost, Dayglow, and Immortal IPAs
McMenamin's Terminator Stout, Ruby, Irish Stout, and Black Widow Porter
Avery Brewery's Mephistopheles (easily my favorite beer)
Old Rasputin imperial stout
Sessions black
Blue Moon, particularly their winter abbey ale, summer honey wheat, and agave nectar brews
Alameda's Black Bear XX Stout, Irvington Juniper Porter, and Stubs Old Crow porter
Laurelwood's Space Stout

The Flood / Re: How's your week going?
« on: October 03, 2015, 04:14:52 AM »
My week's been alright. I got one of the two jobs I interviewed for. I was hoping for both, since together they'd both equal about 50 hours a week, but whatever. One's better than none.

When I was like 8, I once hung out with a group who snuck beer into school and we drank it on school grounds somewhere we weren't supposed to be

We were HARDCORE

That or I scratched the principal's car >.>
Fruit how could you

As for myself, uhhh... It's a toss up between my multiple times streaking, snorting a gram of cocaine to myself, or binging on vicodin and weed while working eight ten overnight shifts in a row.

The Flood / Re: Rude Customers
« on: September 30, 2015, 03:30:28 AM »
My mother and her boyfriend were visiting last year for my birthday. We went out to dinner and mother's boyfriend, Mike, ordered a steak. I forget how he wanted it done, but it wasn't to his liking the first time, so he demanded another one. So he got a second one which, again, wasn't to his satisfaction. He then proceeded to call our waitress and the cooks incompetent and a slew of other rude remarks and just made a giant scene out of it. Now, I can understand him getting frustrated over his food not being prepared how he wanted it. But going on to demean the staff, make an ass of himself, and embarrass me, my mother, and the rest of my family in front of a packed restaurant full of strangers was out of line.

That's the only instance of a rude costumer I've personally seen. Thankfully during my year working in retail, I was in the  back room, so I rarely had to interact with customers.

Captain Morgan's pretty good, but I'm more of a Kraken and Bacardi (Oakheart and 151) kind of guy.

Also, if you do try Kraken, mix it with root beer. Hard root beer if you want to get extra fucked.

I know your pain all too well, man. My cousin is basically the exact same way, and is also a tumblr tier Homestuck and Steven Universe fan. And instead of being lesbian, she claims to be trans, but only jumped on it as a fad.

Fantasy, forum. I've been trying to get into tabletop RPing, but so far, the games I've played in are either over voice chat, which I'm uncomfortable with, or it was a Sci-fi game in person, which I just can't get into like I can with fantasy.

I listen to most genres of metal (some more than others). Glam, thrash, progressive, industrial, avant-garde, symphonic, power, death, black, folk. I just happen to like Melo-death and Black/Folk the most.
If you like black with folk elements I'd highly recommend Panopticon

YouTube

they're one of my favorite bands ever
I dig it. Thanks.

« on: September 04, 2015, 04:55:54 AM »
Do any of you guys have family members the rest of the family doesn't talk to?

Because that's my family. My grandmother's basically insane (muh religion), my mother and aunts all popped out kids with no dads (my cousins and I are all bastards), and my grandfather ditched us for a gold digger and treats her family like his real family.

We're all one big mad house.

This may be the place to ask. Has anyone bought anything from Kotobukiya? Figures, that is.
They're one of the better figure makers.

The Flood / Re: Would you rather drink alcohol or smoke weed?
« on: May 27, 2015, 02:20:30 AM »
Weed. Frequent binge drinking has made it hard to even get a decent buzz nowadays. I was halfway through a bottle of Jack before I realized how much I actually drank and I was barely buzzed.
