Seems to be a bit of a hot topic as of late. Let's talk about it then why not?? What with the Large Language Models and image generating techniques, not to mention audio too. I'm sure you've seen examples on twitter and stuff.
It looks like the big three; music, literature, and pretty pictures are being hit simultaneously. And many artists are understandably confused and lashing out in strange yet feeble ways.
Maybe they should have internationally unionised when they had a chance! Now - a sorry state.
We can assume (for better or for worse), that AI will continue to get better at what it does, be it narrow or general. These temporary stop gaps the artists conjure up will not be enough to address the core of what is at stake here. It is lazy for artists to paint those who are advocates of this technology as 'AI bros'. Instead they need a united philosophy to enshrine the power of human made art, should it be in their interest to do so!

Not been here for around 5 and half years. But cannot leave house and have not left in many months (nearly year). Therefore have been revisiting old internet places, like here!

 It was a strange place with many different type of people. There was areas of intense busyiness and black people playing instruments on the road, I did not understand this but it made me angry and curious. Everything was expensive at high amounts too!! haha, it cost 12 pound for subway half foot longer. That is triple price of where I normally get which is not normally in London! IN conclusion I would give London high praise for city and good underground speedage butcramped. I reccommend all here try city break but be careful of bad street where the mugger is, almost got me but I got a taxi instead.

Hello friends, I have a hypothethical question for you and would be interest to hear your reasoning for answer. Lets imagine that you have been offered a place at your dream job, it pays well and you very much like everything about it, you try get this job for long time and now is your chance. Only problem is that you have to move across the world to work there and that means goodbye to your gf. But you also like your gf very much too because she is good at cooking and many other things. Here is question, there is no right answer but just want to see what you would do. Do you pick your gf over job or job over gf? For sake of question lets just say there is no compromise can happen is one or other.

 A while back I ask you all of chance gf cheat while away at european party island with 'loose' friends. Many fear arise and many good answer were given. yet today finally learned the truth. After taking you advice and being vigilant, against all the odds, the gf remained loyal. It goes to show that even under those bad circumstances if the gf respects you, they will not do bad to relationship. Lesson I have learned from this is that trust is of important and that is good idea to find gf that does not go crazy when away. Thank.

I genuinely do not understand this. I know WHY people go to nightclubs but I don't understand why people find it FUN?
How? Literally how is it in any way something you would want to do? Why?
Entry fees. Douchebag bouncers. Shitty music. So loud you can't hear anyone say anything. Overpriced alcohol. Drugged up people making idiots of themselves. Drugged up people starting fights and mosh pits. Extremely hot and sweaty. PDA everywhere. Toilets are essentially unuseable due to A. the amount of people in there and B. the grotesque lack of hygiene.
Nothing about this is good. Yet thousands (millions?) of people across the world, mainly white people if I'm being honest, end up in these god forsaken hell holes night after night. Once again, I know people go there to get laid but that doesn't explain it well enough, is there something more I'm missing??

Hello friend. I have summer break and some spare time so is good time to read new book. You people here read books also, of many different kinds. You can reccomend what I should read? Open to any genre, but really like history and niche topic. However I am not hipster overlord that will condemn mainstream books, LOTR is good for example so to Ulysses. many respect to J.rr Token. Not all were witches, there was good wizards too that help the king. Magick can help, but I cannot know anybody that teach white magick?

Many times I see thread about gf and asking of advice. And many times there is long lenghtly answers of good knowldge and wordly wisdom. There are also meme answers too of course which is fun.
To those of you versed in answering to gf threads I ask you this about my gf. Please advice!
My gf had booked a holiday with her friends before she became my gf.
gf apologies to me but says she must go on holiday because she promised friends.
I see no problem with this and say is ok.
HOWEVER!
This was before I knew context of where she going! My mind has now been plauged with bad thought!
Gf goes to party island somewhere around spain, (I forget name) for 2 week!!!! TWO WEEKS!!
with her other gfs and a gay guy.
I am not naive to what happens at these party islands in europe!
There is many nightclubs with drink and topless men that lift weights and hit on women every night.

I had it expedited shipped to the Republic of Ireland because I really wanted to play Greg Hasting's Paintball 2.
To my horror, I discovered that my european xbox360 could not play the American-made Greg Hasting's Paintball 2. 6 years ago today I bought Greg Hasting's Paintball 2. And it is still sitting in my shelf right infornt of me, unplayed. Someone, anyone, tell me how I can play Greg Hasting's Paintball 2. Please.

Is there any other organisation like the FFL? I've read up a bit about it and it seems that contrary to popular belief, able bodied people are being put aside in favour of those with previous experience and command of the language. I'm quite flexible here, just don't fancy spending a couple hundred bob to go to france only to be sent packing for some arbitrary reason, it'd be a monumental waste of time. If anybody knows of someplace where you can vanish for a couple of years and you work in return for food and clothes then please let me know. Doesn't even need to be military, literally anything in any country will do.inb4 prison

I suggest we meet bi-annualyy or tri-semesterly whichever works out best in the ice fields of Greenland because it is halfway between Americas and teh good part of Europe that way we make compromise toether.
I will organise the food. I can make egg-based food and toast and even not egg baked food such as beans and sausages. In other words food is not of concern.
I'm looking for volunteers to help me build a cabin though.We will need a sleigh and 26 dogs to pull thelumber into the ice fields. And a janitor to live there during the winter in order of maintanice.
