Marijuana used to be legal in America up till like the late 19th/early 20th century and was made illegal after lies about it were spread around. During WWII the government actually encouraged growing it in order for it to be used to create materials like rope, clothes, etc. It's only illegal because it's a versatile product and can relive some medical problems without having to use a crap ton of chemicals and shit
It was illegal for farmers in Delaware NOT to grow hemp as it was extremely vital for this country. The main reason it became illegal is because the cotton industry didn't want to compete with a superior product.
I wonder if it's possible to get high off of hemp paper

Doesn't seem that bad. But I know how sore those little cuts can be.
Especially in places like that where the skin flexes.
I'm just glad that I cut myself in a place where it's pretty much just loose skin. The darker part is where the scissor blade stopped, so it went at least 1/4 of an inch deep and left a nice flap of skin to deal with.

If you haven't noticed, I try not to take things too seriously. To be honest the cut is kind of deep but I don't think going to the hospital or something drastic like that is necessary. Things would have been so much worse if I panicked and didn't act accordingly. Plus, I pretty much don't have health insurance, so that would be an expense that I really don't want to deal with right now. I'm sure I'll be fine. If there's no visible improvement when I look at it tomorrow, I'll consider going to a doctor or something.

Not necessarily, it's just that I couldn't stop the cut from spewing out blood without the gauze, so I don't want to irritate it or something and cause the wound to not heal properly

Earlier today I received a package in the mail. I was a little excited when I was trying to open it, carelessly using a pair of scissors to try and cut the tape and ultimately slicing my thumb open pretty badly. I've wrapped some gauze on it to stop the bleeding, but it's getting more and more painful to move the thumb. ^ That's pretty much all I have to deal with it, not sure what I should do at this point. The one thing I'm worrying about the most is how I'm going to fap with my left hand  UPDATE ^ I just took off my ghetto-rigged gauze and snapped this picture. The blood near the top of the cut isn't dry, when I took off the gauze I could feel a little bit of the scab that was forming rip off and it started to bleed again. I'm pretty sure I'll be fine.

One issue that I feel very strongly about is the backwards logic that comes with allowing people who are 18 years old be able to do pretty much everything except legally consume alcohol. I just find it ridiculous that they can buy cigarettes (which are objectively worse for you), vote for the next fuck-wit to run the country, and even join the military and legally murder people, but can't buy a goddamn beer.
