this parallel doesn't even make sense. people choose to smoke for a number of reasons, but mainly because it satisfies something when they do. the side effects of this artificial satisfaction just so happens to be cancer. i don't see anybody making the conscious decision to stick their hand in a fire

yes, we all know that cigarettes are poison, but shaming people who have made the decision to smoke is absurd. if somebody wants to scratch off 20+ years from their life, they have every right to.
