Always manages to fascinate me. I've seen a lot of people and things. Heard a lot of stories. I guess maybe it's aged me in temperment a bit. And yet there's always new things around the corner. Some of which I don't ever particularily want to bump into.
And yet all the same, here's you, and here's me. Some dude out in a field in almost pure solitude. And you, somebody far away in a place I'll probably never see, or set foot in. Discussing how one of us practically witnessed somebody getting shot tonight.
I can imagine it. But I hopefully won't likely ever have to know of that sensation. It's good that you got out of there in one piece.
that's the glory of the internet, being able to converse with so many different people from different places. it's a wonderful thing
and yeah it was not a pleasant sensation in the slightest; we lost one of our friends in the frenzy for a minute, too. we ran ahead and he wasn't aware of what was going on but once we realized he wasn't with us we stopped and found him.
Makes me all the more confident in keeping away from crowds. People in crowds is the definition of something shitty waiting to happen.
Any particular news on what or why there was a shooting?
not that i know of, right now i'm just trying to get it off my mind and relax. i hate the feeling of being on edge and full of adrenaline when i was genuinely scared for my life.

Me and a group of friends decided to go to a street festival downtown called ZombiCon, basically the city closes down a block and everyone shows up looking like zombies and it's a great time. There was a stage with a DJ set up and everyone was dancing and having a good time and my friends and I were kinda hanging out a little bit away from the crowd. I was talking to this really cute girl and all of a sudden I hear gunshots not even 10 yards away from me and see multiple people drop to the floor. At that moment my group and I just fucking booked it out of there and didn't look back until we made it back to my car. But, holy shit...I can't stop thinking about it, all I hear are the pops from the gunshots and I'm on edge... i just found a news story about this...only in florida, right? http://www.news-press.com/story/news/2015/10/18/least-1-shot-zombicon/74163952/
