If someone can get by by simply watching the news and voting
So not only did you not read the responses to this thread, you obviously didn't read the fucking OP either.
I saw you mention the news and voting, in addition to other ridiculously unnecessary stuff like philosophy and debating politics and mortality. Again, no one has time for that (people with lives at least) and no one needs to engage in those topics to the extent that you want them to.

Also you come off as miserable, so I'll leave you to it.

842
Dude, calm the fuck down. ✋🏽
The average person doesn't have the time to actively engage in politics and philosophy.
just like you couldn't have taken the time to read some of the responses thus far to find that he already basically addressed this point

if the average person can't honestly make time to educate themselves on the most important and real things in the world they live in, then yeah, meta's titular description is quite accurate--they're parasites
Nah, just because some cranky kids on the internet say people are parasites doesn't make it true. Frankly those people are probably busy doing more important things while you're just spending your time researching things to an unnecessary extent, so in the grand scheme of things they're worth exceeded yours. Also what you deem important isn't objectively important. If someone can get by by simply watching the news and voting, while still being able to hold down a job and pay their bills, then clearly they're not parasites. Let's grow up a bit.

The average person doesn't have the time to actively engage in politics and philosophy. People have jobs, school, activities, and other shit to do. Yeah people can do a little research and watch the news to keep up but no ones going to waste hours of their day on the Internet or at rallies looking up things that won't even affect their daily life to begin with aside from some minimal knowledge of current events and politics.

The Flood / Re: How did the Space X Rocket Blow Up In Space?
« on: July 06, 2015, 02:19:28 PM »
Blow up probably came from explosions taking place on the ground in which the outward force would result in a net trajectory going up due to the ground being in the way. But if something "blows up" mid air then the debris will, of course, travel outward from the point of explosion.

Oh, wait a minute...

Probably. Assuming we have a good chance of actually winning, but if nukes are going to start flying then diplomacy would hopefully be the first choice.

The name implies something a lot cooler than what it actually is.

Lame.
What did you think it was?

857
To my understanding, you can still have a criminal record for a fine, right?

it's not blue, looks like you failed
The blue looked really nice, but I felt it was a bit feminine.

It's a lot smaller than I thought. Very well made and discrete, but it'll be at least week before I can smoke since I started my new job. For those that smoke (be it weed or tobacco) a vape seems like a good way to go. No more having to deal with a bong that smells like Satans ass hole.

Well he is the president...

Welllllllll, that's debatable. He's not really that bad either.

True say. If Jeb Bush becomes pres I hope he doesn't make the sames mistakes his ken have made.

The Flood / Re: Why do yall say nigger so much?
« on: June 30, 2015, 11:08:49 PM »
I don't typically ever use it, unless I'm obviously being ironic. I have an aversion to it, like any person probably should.
I think its odd to have an aversion to a word.

I use it all the time IRL, probably more often than I do online to be honest, just not as a racial slur.

I call people who are acted like dumbasses niggers, and I also use it to describe misers, because of its ponetic similarity to the word niggard.

It's a cultural norm for homochromatic people here to use the word with each other around here, so I don't really see it as racial when it comes out of my mouth.

Even if it was as sensitive here as it is in other regions, I don't think I would refrain from using the word as an everyday insult until the first time I got the shit kicked out of me, but that's why I live here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
UK? Also to be fair, a lot of white people get away with calling their black friends nigga. Unless of course he's from areas like Chiraq or something. But shit even I wouldn't fuck with a Chiraq savage.

The Flood / Re: Being bald is great.
« on: June 30, 2015, 10:52:46 PM »
These last two years haven't been kind to me, terrible rising widow's peak and a minor bald spot in the back. I've been using shit to keep my hair though that has been working.
What do you use? My uncle and dad are bald so I feel like eventually I might go bald. No signs of it right now but it's best to be prepared.
Shampoo set called Nioxin which has worked great so far. Been about 5 weeks I've been using it and people have noticed the difference. I also take biotin supplements as well.
I'll look into that. I always had Hair Club for Men or Bosley on the backburner just in case, but this seems way cheaper and less invasive.
Yeah, the best thing you could do is preventive measures. Shampoo set is a bit expensive, like $40 for the set at somewhere like Hair Cuttery, but has worked so I can't complain. Shit sucks that I'm already losing it at 23, but not much else I can do at the moment. Best advice to do something about it when you start to notice your hair thinning. Once the follicles are dead, you're fucked.
Damn. Yeah I just hope I don't go bald but family history means it's not looking too good. I don't see how we don't have a cure for baldness yet. That should be someones life mission.

It's the Internet, don't take everything you see seriously.
I keep forgetting this for some reason.
