Okay, but the US has nothing to make up for. Religion, feminism and the LGBTQ social issues are practically non-existent in Canada (feminism to a lesser extent, but whatever). The only thing we need to fix is the fact that Catholic schools are public - that's bullshit.
It's nice you have free healthcare though. I hear the wait times are pretty bad, however. I'm never really seen the health care wait times as being characteristically "bad". And I feel I have a decent frame of reference, as I've been to multiple hospitals in the US and Caribbean.
The one thing I'll give the U.S. over us is the weather. God, I hate winter. That's why I want to move south when the time is right.
Public catholic schools? Now that's weird. And you mean weather in the whole country? I can't necessarily say I'm surprised, as anything above the mason dixon line is cold to me. I hear Vancouver has some nice weather though. Like it's always pristine. But yeah, when I think of a Canadian winter I envision dead, frozen bodies on the side of the road with snow above the tree lines.

It's really not that big a deal. Our free health care, stable economy, etc. more than makes up for it.
You won't find anyone complaining about 70% of the social issues found in Serious while living in Canada, either.

Having strict rules is what kills forums. Why do you think 4chan is the most active forum on the internet?
Almost everyone will agree 4chan is the lowest standard of a forum on the web. It's not like people go there to do anything productive. I'm not playing up to bungie but at least they can maintain a lot of members and consistent activity at all times. There's been moments where it's been nearly dead in the middle of the day here. Just my 2¢.
But that's not related to the amount of "shitposting" or lax of the moderation. Its because we only have 50 fucking active members
Might need to ask yourself why that's the case when there's almost 1K accounts.

I was curious. I started drinking and smoking later in life. Didn't start drinking until 19 and didn't smoke weed until I was 20. Which aint long ago. I actually hate drinking but I find weed to be a pleasant experience. It's not the killer drug that people made it out to be.
