The Flood / So I took an exam high...
« on: September 22, 2015, 08:30:33 PM »
Lond story short, my coworker hooked me up with her dealer to get me some loud (high level weed) and I ended up ripingg a flow the next day around 3 thinking it was no big deal, I just wanted to try it out before going to a boring two hour lecture. Thing is I ended up having a test that I thought was scheduled for the next class period, and this was at 4:30. Well as it goes, I got no study prep in and I was pretty high during the test, but I got my grade back and ended up getting an 88. So... there's that.

The Flood / Re: What will you tell your kids about Santa?
« on: September 22, 2015, 02:38:19 AM »
my parents never let me or my brothers believe in any of that shit, and i'll be doing the same with my kids. gotta make sure they appreciate what their parents do for them by spending lots of money on gifts every year, instead of thanking some imaginary old fat guy who sneaks into people's homes through their basement and eats their cookies.
Your kids tell the other kids at school "Santa is a joke" and you'll get shit for it. I've seen it happen more than once. I'd put up with it regardless.
Yeah but given the amount of kids that believe in Santa, I doubt that'll be a significant problem.

The Flood / Who's your favorite musical artist right now?
« on: September 22, 2015, 02:32:36 AM »
I've been on a music binge for a few days trying to discover new stuff, and it was successful. Anyway I'm sure this is expected but my favorite artist is Drake. He is no doubt the best musician of our generation, and possibly all of human kind.

But yeah who's your favorite artist?

The Flood / Re: Do you believe in the multiverse?
« on: September 21, 2015, 01:47:38 PM »
There's no conclusive evidence suggesting that we live in a multiverse. So no, I don't believe so.
String and M theory help to explain it, and it also helps explain how the big bang initiated.
Neither String Theory or M Theory are confirmed to be true. Unless they are, there is no rational, scientific reason to assume they exist.
Well that's true, although they remain confident since it adheres to mathematical concepts and doesn't necessarily break down. But yeah, you're right in the sense that the scientific method can't apply to this. But maybe we need a new way of analyzing concepts this large?
If math can be used to model anything in the physical world, and math can be applied to higher dimensions, wouldn't it be logical to assume these higher dimensions are possible although not observable?

1. Become an engineer and officer in the Air Force.
2. Have a wife.
3. Maybe have kids.
4. Have a nice car, preferably an EV which I'm sure should be decent once I get to that point.
5. Have a nice house with a contemporary interior.
6. Invent something and then patent it.
7. Understanding complex theories like M and String Theory, quantum mechanics, etc.
8. Never dying.

The Flood / Re: How can tattoos be permanent if life is temporary?
« on: September 21, 2015, 11:28:11 AM »
Aside from the faulty logic, tattoos technically arean't permanent since your body flushes out the ink over time, and you can speed up the process.
The ink is permanently injected into the dermis layer. Your body can absorb the ink very slowly over time causing it to fade a little, and that's it.

A tattoo is permanent unless you opt to get laser removal.
You didn't disprove anything I said, just explained what I already stated. Yeah it's permanent in a sense that you die before it completely fades, but it'll eventually fade if your body does its normal processes over a given period. Laser removal just cuts the time down.
it's 100% permanent. there's nothing technical about it like you made out.
But they're not you homosexual bitchboy. The ink can fade when exposed to UV light, or your immune system eventually filters the ink through your lover iirc. The point is the body will try to get rid of foreign substances, hence the fading. So nah it's technically not permanent.
UV exposure won't make it disappear completely, and you'd be long dead before the time it'd take for your body to naturally absorb and detoxify the ink.
So yeah, it's permanent for your entire life.
But that's what I said though.

The Flood / Re: How's school going?
« on: September 21, 2015, 11:27:38 AM »
I've bombed my two comp architecture exams and that's the only grade we have thus far but we're actually getting a couple of assignments on .bat files that I understand so hopefully I can redeem my grade. Data structures is starting to get intense I have to write a RPN evaluator this Friday and then next Friday use one of Dijkstra's algorithms to build upon that program where it will evaluate a given algebraic string and convert it to RPN. Biology and Composition II are laughably easy and I'm weeks ahead on them.
Damn, sounds difficult. I hate those classes where exams determine the grade. I feel like teachers should know that's a bad way to go about it. And yeah general ed classes are always low stress.
I still took note of that took you mentioned btw.

Loosing interest and drive everyday.
The way I see it, the vast majority of my life has been spent in school so I just take it as a normal thing. I only have like a year left in college though. But yeah, one day it'll all be over.

during lectures i can take notes no problem, but on my own is a different story...

studying on my own, especially for big exams, involves addy-induced cramming because i'm a procrastinating piece of shit, but it gets the job done
How do you score addy? I've been trying for a while.

The issue of a mulsim being head of a country at war with islamic extremism. We know how people will react if he was legitimately muslim.
I don't understand, are you trying to say that he couldn't be a muslim because the US is at war with Islamic extremism?
No, I'm saying people wouldnt allow a legit Muslim to be president at this point in history. That variable would make him dip in the polls pretty hard.

10,000 posts over more than a year? Not that strange actually
For people with responsibilities it is. No shade.
I work and go to college, so yeah its very possible. Throw in being on mobile when you are bored and you are just racking up the post count.

If it were just counting hours on a computer, most people's numbers would be pretty different
I work and go to college as well. Either you aren't doing much between the two or your time management is on point. Between studying, social life, and lifting I barely have time to log on.
But eh, it is what it is.
You don't even lift
If you've seen my pics, you know I lift. I go to the gym four times a week.
Your gains are weak bro
Hoe I'm upping my weight almost every week. I'll post a thread in December on my progress and you'll see. You'll all see.
I'll see your flab lmao
That's not what the sloots call it.
They call it disgusting
