I was kinda interested when those first recorded calls were revealed, but delving into the private lives of celebrities like that has always made me feel a little gross, so I stopped paying attention.
I was definitely anti-Depp when that initial recording of him being drunk and belligerent at home was uploaded several years ago, because I kinda always suspected that he might've been a douchebag anyway, but if it's true that Heard was the real abuser all along, then I guess people will have to stop making oh-so-clever jokes at his expense whenever they watch one of his movies, so that's nice.
My interest in it doesn’t really relate to Depp, it’s more so because it’s a domestic abuse case where the male is actually winning and can set a precedent if he prevails in the end, there’s no denying the gender bias associated with cases like these. Hell, a couple that lived in my area a few years ago had a pretty bad divorce and the woman staged bruises and wounds from him. The guy was innocent and proved such in court but his reputation was completely and utterly ruined in the end and he moved away off to another county. While this case could’ve been any male celebrity and I would’ve felt the same way, I want to see Depp get vindicated considering Disney cut basically every tie they had with him because of the abuse allegations years ago. He’s a decent actor that didn’t deserve half of this shit

I decided to watch White Lines on Netflix because it was by the same guy who did Money Heist (which I really enjoyed).
It’s a unique take on murder mystery with its environment of Ibiza and nightlife but the modern day scenes were much less interesting than the 20 years in the past scenes and unfortunately the modern day takes up 80% of the show

 Finished product + a poorly done venom figure I decided to give a makeover with a little bit of inspiration from Spider-Man 2099. I decided to go with red for the visor because I always thought the visor being orange while the rest being red was fucking stupid and made no sense for the colour scheme. Paint became too thick at the breastplate which made it pretty much impossible to do the small red lining without smudging the ever living shit out of the breastplate. Other than that I think it turned out okay

 The phazon suit figurine isn’t actually available for purchase in Ireland unless you want to pay an insane amount of customs for the figure by paying for it on Amazon US so I decided to try my hand at recreating the suit out of my old paints and brushes by using the varia model as a base and then painting over it. Still a WIP obviously as I’m missing the red accents and visor but I’ll probably finish that sometime later.

I’d love for there to be an optional joycon control like Odyssey but given MPT’s lack of any other control scheme despite the fact that New Play versions of the 3 games with exclusively wii controls were made means Retro will probably only work with one form of control scheme.
Retro spent about a year incorporating Wii Controls into MP3, so my bet is if they’re working it to be similar to the GameCube by using the Switch’s basic controls that’s probably the only option we’re going to get. I’m not sure I can see Joycon working with anything even including MP3.
