The Flood / Re: Has Below Radar been changed in BF3?

bf5 wasnt it

i liked bf1 but i actually miss the "modern warfare" of bf4

BF4 is still extremely active, at least on PS4 it is. Last few times I’ve played it I’ve been able to get into a full conquest game by just using the quick match.

Even hardcore has full servers on BF4, there’s like 3 servers that regularly are full and have queues up to like 8 or 9.

really? maybe i should check sometime, id imagine it's the same for xbox

i wonder if theres a "24/7 operation locker/metro" server. those were popular and a clusterfuck but i loved it

Both maps 24/7 are actually among the most popular servers now. There’s even still the KSA 3000 ticket ones if you use the right filters.

Maybe don’t confess the fact you blew a dirty homeless man for meth to anyone and live with the shame for the rest of your life (if you’re capable of having any shame that is)

I am a literal who on this forum but I would rather be unknown than be known as the guy who sucked off a herpes ridden hobo under an interstate for a little bit of meth, that’s the kind of shit you hear in copypastas

Ireland’s pretty much in lockdown now and I think I might actually have it myself. Been self isolating for like a week now and I’m getting kinda salty about it, it’s boring as fuck.

There’s not really much I can do. My lectures have been called off, the gyms are closed and everyone’s looted all the food and toilet paper out of the supermarkets. Still have work luckily but not sure for how long.

On the bright side, I’ve been getting into The Sims 4 and have been enjoying it quite a lot.

I’m relatively active on it, purely because of accessibility on an app. Although I don’t see myself staying on it for long given that Bungie’s number one asshole sniffer, Spawn is taking advantage of the new CoC changes to go on mass ban sprees and I got caught in one of them.

Offtopic forum is literally just going to be 15 year olds and RP now.

First confirmed case in Northern Ireland. Its creeping up, boys.

It just made a confirmed touchdown at a school in Glasnevin Dublin. Currently shitting it as they have no idea how much contact the person made with other people during that time and I live about 20 mins away from it.
Wait, you're in Ireland?

Yup, studying out of DCU but I don’t live in the complex. Thank the fucking lord I don’t because if I did I wouldn’t be going anywhere but my apartment.
Oh wow. Are you originally from IE or here on some exchange programme?

Born in Ireland as is my father, my grandfather was enlisted with the Russian Army and was present in Berlin during the fall of Germany before moving off to Ireland to get away from Stalin and his regime, he didn’t like to talk about it much given how brutal they were to the German citizens. Still have Russian relatives over in Novosibirsk (at least I think we do, that’s where my grandfather lived) but we are not in contact with them and never have been.

Imagine caring an incredible amount for the franchise waiting a decade for Half-Life 3 and then when they finally announce they’re doing a game it’s not HL3 but instead a fucking VR prequel.

The first time I played a Half Life game was on the Orange Box so I’m not too bothered about it but in my opinion, that’s almost as bad as the “you guys don’t have phones?” motherfucker at Blizzcon.
Interesting that you see it that way. I think releasing a mainline franchise game on a phone is a sign of your franchise degradation.  VR is the true next step and if Valve doesn't mess up, this game could be what makes people jump on it maybe even force Sony and MS to seriously look into full VR support.

I view any attempt for developers to switch the platform of their franchise completely with a lot of contempt and spite as it’s forcing anyone who wants to enjoy the newest instalment to buy the system the game is now on. It’s not as bad as the Diablo Immortal fiasco because Blizzard basically laughed at their hardcore PC player base, Valve hasn’t done anything like that. I understand VR needs more support and investment but right now it’s extremely primitive and using a game which everyone’s been waiting over a decade for is not a smart move in my opinion.

The scary thing about it isn’t even the virus, it’s just the fact it’s happening in China of all places, where the population is high and the secrecy is higher. The numbers we’ve been fed about the infection rate and death toll are likely much lower than the real number. Who the fuck quarantined off a city of 11 million after 100 deaths, an action even WHO was surprised by? A government that is lying through their teeth about how many are dead.

There’s also the fact that police suppressed a doctor who discovered the virus from talking about it and then he ended up dead from it like 2 weeks ago. That’s Soviet Union tier secrecy right there. From Hong Kong to this situation, I wouldn’t be surprised if a nationwide uprising happens within the next few years, I’d watch the news reports with popcorn knowing the government officials are getting pitchforks jammed up their ass.

Honestly you should’ve just Scraping Speared his asshole and broke everything he owned to make it all the more inconvenient for him. Whenever I invaded in DeS I already knew what I was in for so I always just whipped it out and then used Soulbrandt after I effectively broke all their shit with SS. For a first attempt at PvP from Fromsoft; it is so hilariously broken that I haven’t a clue how it made it past concept art, let alone actually be playtested.

I once had a duel that went on for an hour because both of us had a shitload of grass and  the second chance spell, it eventually just turned into a “no u” of us spamming the SS at each other until everything was broken. We then proceeded to attempt to murder each other with broken weapons and every time either of us got low we just used grass to heal right back up.

Never again.

Seeds of trees of Giants are in bountiful amounts in this game for some reason. If the invader is playing like a slimy shithead and relying on enemies to get you, popping a seed generally makes it a gg without you needing to even attack them. Funny enough these days when I invade, the only people who still use the seeds are Havel cucks with 1 or more phantoms to ensure you have literally no chance of survival unless you are a parry god and have the patience to allow the host to heal while his boyfriends attack you mercilessly. I agree with duels though, thank god that most people have the common sense not to. The advantage to someone healing in a duel though is that you’re obviously better than them and with the ability to heal you can shit on them and still have heals left, then you can gesture spam on their corpse.

Estus in the rest of the games is more or less a a tool for the invader to avoid getting buttfucked by a 2v1 or worse situation. In DS3, this mechanic is especially important because for some reason the game prioritises invasions where there’s a summon in the world (this is literally the equivalent of Miyazaki telling you to look at something pretty over the edge of a cliff and then roundhouse kicking your ass off the edge) so 99% of the situations you run into while invading will be a gank. It doesn’t help at least one of them will be running a weapon that will 2 shot you and if it doesn’t get the second hit off, you’re stunlocked which opens your asshole up for whatever the other player has in store for you.

Legend has it that some Demons Souls invasions are still ongoing because neither player has ran out of fucking grass yet.

I find the PvP to be the best in the series by far although it’s got its shortcomings like the invader being unable to heal while the host can deepthroat estus all day long and gank the living shit out of you with phantoms. Sure you can heal with warmth or faith miracles but what if I wasn’t a Faith build? Should I just go fuck myself then?

DS1’s PvP is just ass, anyone who enjoys it likely spams DMB falchion and used to be a flipping havelmom before it got nerfed, also probably think Giantdad is the best meme ever. You should play remastered sometime, it’s even worse than the original!

DS3’s PvP is just unbalanced as fuck. The amount of times I’ve one shot or been one shot or stunlocked or GANKED Is astronomical. It seems that when Miyazaki was in control of the games, the PvP aspect got shit on and was literally disregarded as something not important at all, I’m not even dedicating a paragraph to BB. Anyone who plays that game already knows the PvP is broken (if you can even find a fight these days)

In DS2, you’re not going to get stunlocked or two shot by anything. The PvP feels balanced and fair and almost any weapon is viable, you just need to know how to play to it’s strengths.

PvE is ass tho I’ll give that to you OP.

Correct, Bungie murdered community and gaming for no apparent reason other than they wanted to close off avenues to talk about something that wasn’t their shitty game.
