People who skip lines instead of using commas.

People who use Facebook just to constantly bitch about people they meet in their lives.

When people put captions on a photo expressing some vague emotion, saying something completely contrived and then being like " oh yeah we can all relate to this!"

When a photo is shared from tumblr including completely unnecessary comments at the bottom like "LMFAOOOO"

Puns (particularly egg puns), with the exception of ones that actually have some thought put into them

Gaming / Re: KOTOR 2 won't let me fuel my addiction.
« on: January 05, 2016, 04:50:23 PM »
Does anyone know a fix for this? I want to finish the game and end the addiction.
Well good luck with that, the game took me something like 80 hours to complete (the same as my dark souls 2 playthrough). Though granted I did get stuck on one particular planet for a very long time..
Holy fuck, which planet? A completionist playthrough only took me 30 hours...
Nar Shaddaa. Nearly ruined the game for me. Apart from just being generally confused about what I was supposed to do, there was some kind of fast transport vehicle which I spent ages rebuilding only to find out that it was still unsafe to use or something.
Now that I think about it, I may have left the game running paused on my laptop a few times so 80 hours might be a tad inflated, but I'm nearly certain that was the number displayed on my save game at the end.
Spoiler
Which is strange because I literally didn't have any trouble with Nihilus Kreia or Sion, beating them all first time
Damn, Nar Shaddaa is probably my favourite of the four planets.
Dxun and Onderon were my favourite places in either of the two games. Taris was very nice as well but Dantooine and Korriban were just worse versions of themesleves from KOTOR 1.
I should add that I haven't played the game with that mod, so we might have had very different experiences

The Flood / Re: TV screen just died

Check the capacitors before dropping hundreds on a new TV. They're fairly easy to replace if you feel comfortable working with voltage that could hurt a bit.

Or just Google "(your tv model) sound but no picture"
Don't fuck with the capacitors

They can easily kill you.
They won't kill you (certainly not easily), but they can give you one hell of a shock. Our lecturer used to throw capacitors at us and then call us idiots if we caught them

He performed backed by a group called "The Buzz".
well okay.

Kate Bush on the other hand, at the age of 19:
Topped the UK Singles Chart for four weeks with her debut single, "Wuthering Heights", becoming the first female artist to achieve a UK number-one with a self-written song.

Well you're doing it backwards, for a start. The only reason I would ever add the nose is because the Huawei keyboard has a smiley face key that puts it in with the nose.

I see this delightful shit is still going on.

Anyways, we're like four months away from season 6 with GRRM not even mentioning anything about a release date, so I don't take this as much of a surprise.

I can see Jon's parentage being revealed this season, kinda sucks that we have to see it in the show first but eh.
Eh, if a reveal that's already been widely accepted among the fanbase is the worse thing to be spoiled this season, I'll be fine. What's really going to piss me off is when it starts to spoil who survives and who doesn't in a shitty, simplified way.

Spoiler
Like Stannis?
Spoiler
Possibly. I'm currently not expecting him to die in the Battle of Winterfell but I can't imagine he'll have a key role in the last book. I kind of think the characters they decided to kill off in season 5 were characters that they didn't know where to go with for the show. I mean they cut Aegon and he is obviously going to have a huge role in TWOW so it's hard to say what level of accuracy the show can be held to at this point. I'm more so talking about the A-list characters like Jaime or Arya. If one of them dies, then they surely die in the books.
Spoiler
Arya's lost me a bit. Not really that interested in her story at the mo.
Spoiler
Arya's story is wierd as fuck, both in what I know from the show and books. I wanna know more on what'll happen to Bran, we kinda got an understanding on the type of power Bran has in the Game of Thrones Telltale game(which sucked sadly).

I kind of just want to see Arya's training complete faster so she can return to Westeros, but at least she isn't taking for-fucking-ever like Dany is.

At this point I've pretty much given up on Dany. I think I actually enjoyed Brienne's quest more.
I quite liked book Brienne, she gave off this hardy impression but when you see her POV chapters you see that she's extremely wary about fighting people and knows she's not invincible... she was no Jaime of course but I thought her actions were sort of admirable (especially outside that inn).
Also, she has that one chapter where Septon Meribald gives one of the best anecdote/speeches in the entire series.

"Every stool was looser than the one before, and smelled fouler. By the time the moon came up she was shitting brown water. The more she drank the more she shat but the more she shat, the thirstier she grew".
I actually just read this today, and that line is kinda important in depicting the deterioration of Daenerys in the Dothraki Sea, showing how she was essentially wasting away to nothing.
i'm afraid if i roll my eyes back any further, they'll pop out
That wouldn't be a bad thing.

Don't get me wrong, there are PLENTY of useless, boring, dragged out, uninteresting, unimportant sections of the series - chapters at a time, in some places. This is not one of them.

Yes, there's a lot written.
For the books how many pages are there to them that are useless shit which has no bearing on the main story? My dad reads them and he told me one book has a hundred pages that's about some random. He said they were about the guy's journey to meet Daenerys and at the end of it he gets eating by a dragon.

His story is actually really important.
He was pretty much the sole reason I lost interest in the books for so long though. Completely uninteresting character and as such it was impossible to give a shit about him at all. He was only (sort of) redeemed at the very end of his last chapter, and that was because he gets brutally killed.

The implication is that the SP is more cherished than the multiplayer, which isn't true in the slightest.
I would argue that it is... unless by multiplayer you're also referring to co-op multiplayer, in which case okay fair enough. But Halo 2 was the primarily multiplayer one if anything.
