thank god for slam poetry
what even is slam poetry

it's sounds basically just like a rant but she's written it out beforehand to make it more fluent
yeah

you just write a poem and then recite it with FEELING

it's pretty cool when done right but most slam poetry as it is now is dominated by tumblr feminist types, and it's just a little embarrassing to watch
Yeah, there'a world of difference between those two videos.

It was a good forum. just had shit heads like noelle and kinder that sunk it.
It was probably the worst forum I've ever been on. The mods openly abused and bullied members, it's no wonder it got taken down so quickly.

i said this once ages ago. but yall are/were retarded for making kiyo a mod. a famous horrid user who made a PB when the first one got deleted. thats all the "good" shes ever done. just trash.
Exactly, she was voted in because everyone thought she was so "fair" and "unbiased" because she didn't go apeshit with power in the whole 24 hours that her forum was alive.

Seriously, he's too big.

His UFC glove is apparently 4XL. Imagine that hammer fisting your face.
If you think he's big now you should have seen him during his first run in the WWE in the early 2000s.
And as well as being incredibly huge and athletic, he was lean. 6'3" and 300lbs and he used to attempt the shooting star press.

The Flood / Re: GoT Season 7 Delayed
« on: July 07, 2016, 08:25:09 AM »
The last season was the best since the first. I don't understand how you people don't like it.
I've seen so many people trash on it literally just because there's stuff that didn't happen in the books (yet) going on. If WoW came out prior to this season and it validated everything that happened I guarantee you'd see loads more people praising it
They're going in two different directions. Ramsay Bolton wasn't that big of a deal in the books and doesn't even marry Sansa. He marries some girl pretending to be Arya. They're completely different stories at this point, and that's not exactly a bad thing.
I know, and I completely accept that. I'm not saying the events that happened in this season will happen in the next book, but if they did no one would have a problem.

Jon (ie Jacaerys Targaryen) finds the eggs of Vermax within the walls of Winterfell and has an epic Dance-of-Dragons-esque fight with Daenerys, winning the Iron Throne while simultaneously destroying and burning down Kings Landing

Saw it a few weeks ago, thought it was pretty good but not as amazing as everyone makes out. I've watched a lot of horror films though.

Honestly, it probably has something to do with the age I was when I watched it but the first paranormal activity was the scariest movie I've seen. Only horror movie that stayed with me for a good while.

Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make 'em water. It's more useful.

Some Redditor speculated that Jon's name is actually Jaehaerys Targaryen after watching the flashback scene a bunch of times. It seems baseless, but I'm sure Bran will tell him sometime in S7.
how can his name be anything Targaryen when his parents weren't married

They couldn't even have secretly gotten married because rhaegar was already married

Jaehaerys Rivers, then. The first name is the speculation.
Jaehaerys Snow. The bastard surname generally comes from where they were raised, not born. But even if it was, Tower of Joy is in Dorne.

So would anyone at the Twins actually have recognised Arya if she hadn't used someone's face
And I guess she just killed some poor girl for her face only to take it off at the moment of assassination anyway.
Not sure where she found the time to bake two adult people into a pie either, or did she kill all the cooks too.
She just points out the Frey Pie glaringly too, doesn't even let Walder eat it, might as well have just worn one of their faces instead
Certain Freys would have attended various feasts and tourneys that Arya was at, so it wouldn't have been safe to assume she would remain unrecognised. And she's a highborn daughter of Catelyn Tully of the Riverlands, as far as people go her appearance is probably well known to the Freys at least.

Season 6 was shit. The pacing has just been awful.

Are you saying that sam tarly only going from the Wall to Oldtown in the same time Baelish goes from the vale to the north, back to the vale and back to the north again doesn't make sense?
The scenes aren't shown completely chronologically, Sam could have made it to Oldtown well before the Battle of the Bastards. Especially considering his plot has no relation with anyone else's at the minute.
They only have so much time to tell the story, I'd rather they just let us deduce or ourselves that time passing isn't uniform across the storylines instead of having 3 seasons of Jon planning to attack Winterfell.

There HAS to be a better way to portray it though. Usually with shows or movies that jump between months, even years they show what time they are at. But GoT is just one huge mess
I don't think there's a show or movie with as many independent storylines as Game of Thrones that manages to do that in 10 episodes per season.
Even the books struggle to do this, GRRM split the books geographically instead of chronologically so the readers could read one part of the story, then read a different part of the story in the next book that happened simultaneously.

I know a lad who, after drinking for well over 12 hours, decided to drive to Dublin. He was caught and arrested by the guards but he still does it.

I don't see it happening tbh. Hopefully it does, but I honestly can't see it.
