I hate the extended bullshit they put in these movies. The 30 minute long chase scene with Smaug felt like something a cheap video game adaptation would use to draw out the length.
I literally fell asleep in the cinema during that scene.

I thought the goblins/orcs/whatever looked a little shitty, even compared to LOTR.
I can't even remember most of the films, or the book for that matter... but I remember the book had more of a magical feeling to it. Really lighthearted, even when scary shit was happening. And I didn't like how they did mirkwood - in fact, I can barely remember it. When I try to think back to that scene I imagine it as I pictured in my head when reading the book.
Idk though, there's just.. something missing from the movies. I still enjoyed them though, and I'll surely watch them a few more times.

Holy frack he is amazing. He was great at United, but every since going to Real he's been fracking god like. He's probably one of the only players at the moment that actually blows me away
Absolutely ludicrously good. I think he's beginning to blow away any doubts of Messi being better than him. Really distinguishing himself as the absolute best in the world at the minute, and IMO probably of all time. 192 goals in 172 games for Madrid... what other player has a scoring record like that for a club?
