lol
it's funny because queen fucking sucks, and if you like them, go die
And the album that "Gorgeous" (the Kanye West song) is from is literally one of the best albums I've ever heard.

She'd have a hard time being Irish, where saying hello translates to "God be with you".

I'd be perfectly happy if shitposting just wasn't a thing here.

Life of Pie. It is just such shit. I hate the symbolism, and the way the story is presented. The main character is full of himself and, just, ugh.
Yeah, that cookbook was pretty crappy. The Life of Pi was great though.

I don't applaud pilots personally, but I don't complain about people who do. "Doing your job" isn't a specific thing that you can blanket judge everyone on. We applaud sports stars and musicians too for doing their job and nobody complains.
That's because they're performers, they do it to entertain, it isn't fair to compare them to the likes of a a pilot. Plus those things are more of a hobby than actual professions.
They're doing what they love in front of a crowd for (if sports) less than 2 hours, getting paid millions and they get applause. People get quite unnerved flying on planes, like they're putting their lives directly in the pilot's hands. I can understand why someone would feel somewhat grateful when they land safely on the ground after hurling through the air at hundreds of miles per hour.

Weird you should mention it, I felt like that 2 nights ago (If perhaps, slightly different to what you're talking about). I was trying to get to sleep but had a fever, and my mind was thinking so furiously that I was pretty much dreaming while I was awake. I think I was delirious. My head was splitting all day yesterday.

People clapping at the end. Does this really happen?
Not really but this is a limited release and many of those people probably went just to see that trailer.
You're the second person I've seen point that out. Why is it a big deal?
Who are they applauding? The actors? Directors? If they're not there to see it then what's the point? You wouldn't do it at home. Though maybe it's just American culture. I heard they clap when their flights land too, which is just as bad since you're praising someone for doing their job.

I'm already pissed-right-the-fuck-off enough that they completely cut out Aegon and Jon Connington's stories from the show,
wat Are you sure? How could they?!

The bible isn't a source.
It's a source for information on the bible.

Not interested, but I'm just after watching the trailer because someone on Facebook wrote "They're doing something I've NEVER seen in a superhero movie before..." Sold it pretty well, considering I watched the whole thing.

"Two fifths of a unit"
Oh my god, do I really have to change the example to something like ".047384826 units" for this forum to get what I'm saying?
It just sounds better.
I know, but it's more of a mathematical question than a grammatical one.
I don't know. I guess the singular "unit" refers to one, so saying "0.4 unit" would imply that there is one when there isn't. The plural form seems to indicate that there isn't one, not that there's more than one. We say "0 units" too.

How's it feel to hit the official title of "no life"?
you are so mean to me. holy crap i might just hit myself with a bible in rage.
I thought it was pretty much established that 10k meant no life. Plus I'm like...700 posts away, so...give it another month maybe and I'll be up there too. lol
My thing is:
I post fast. but my online time is garbage. Half what other peoples' is. So I'm a fast poster..........but I'm not here as much as it would pappear.
So you finish fast? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
When did you become a ninja?

Can you put on your headphones and just sit there and listen to an entire album without getting bored?
I don't like listening to music if I can't pay attention to it. I like seeing what techniques are used where and noticing little embellishments put in by the musicians. There's often tiny details in songs that make me enjoy them 10x more.

They both look awesome. Why not both?
because i'm lazy
I would like someone to write articles for the loosing blade though, that might be nice
If this is going to be like a thing that you do every week, why not just do one this time and the other next? Unless this is going to be your last sword thread, I don't see why you have to choose between them.

That reminds me of the *insert historical figure's name* 200th birthday if they were alive type deal that people do.
So I'll just go ahead and say it. Happy early birthday living people!
Happy early yet non-existent birthday because you're actually dead, dead people!
What the fuck are you talking about?
I guess it's just me then. I see it everywhere I go some days.
"Oh hey guys, it's Isaac Newton's 138th birthday if he was still alive today."
I bump into that shit all the fucking time. "It's so and so's 198th birthday!"
Yeah. Okay. They're dead. I know they did cool stuff while they were alive. But does it really warrant counting their birthday after they're gone? Does it warrant a big announcement?
I don't see why not.
