It's a bit like how rock is weak to grass

you ever see what happens to a flower that has a brick dropped on it?
Yeah but plants can grow through concrete and rocks
do you want to tell me how long that takes

Yes. It has a lot more stuff than XB1 version and gets faster updates.

It's a fantastic game as long as you don't go in expecting loads of combat.

It's a space sim with combat as a side activity rather than a space combat sim with other side activities. You have to go out of your way to shoot things.

you can do a lot of combat but with the AI in its current state its not really a challenge once you learn

find a good res site and you could sit in there for hours and make a couple million and the spawn table and rate won't really change

in case you guys want to use the thread again

Yah but mining's boring. I like just exploring and getting missions. Once you figure out the map in regards to what produces/ buys what, it's pretty cool. I don't get trade routes and shit, though.
i wasnt talking about mining i was talking about hunting the pirates in the rings

Oh, my bad. I thought you meant Resource Extraction.

I'm working my way up to eventually (Hopefullly) be able to participate in Federal invasions and combat zone stuff.
pirates hang around resource extraction sites as well as miners, if you find a hazardous/high risk one, there will be pirates to shoot, you'll make more money off them than actually mining

controls are hard to get used to at first
Never played on a XBone pad, might have to try for the keks

I find the controller a lot better than keyboard/ mouse (I played a lot at a friend's before getting the game myself). I've heard joystick is master race for it though, to no one's surprise.

I really want to play ED with an oculus at some point. That would be fucking amazing.
you would most definitely benefit from a HOTAS with oculus, because its what your character uses in the game

what the fuck do i do ?
think of credits as progression like exp

just do whatever you can to progress

don't take on missions where you don't know what to do (which is really the games fault), like trading missions where you have to source good from somewhere but you don't know how to use the map to look for economies

right now there's not that many ways, you could either bounty hunt, trade or explore, maybe smuggle or piracy
or you can just do missions

i want a space game but i dunno

faggots on steam have like a billion hours logged and they're like "yeah i don't like it wouldn't recommend xd"
why the fuck have you played it so long you mongoloid?

most people play it for about 20 hours

the ones who havent like me are wierdos who have friends who have only played it for like 20 hours and left

we know theres not much you can do but some of us just mess around and like flying ships

also it counts the hours when the launcher is open on steam

Chowder was good if you weren't 12.

Flapjack too.

The guy who did Flapjack also worked on Billy & Mandy, Camp Lazlo, and Powerpuff Girls.

That show was fucked up though.

I think you mean great. The art style was one of the best things about it.

reminds me of old spongebob and courage

looks like I'm gonna get it on xbone after all

might get it on pc too, but idk
if youre building a pc might as well get it on pc

youll get all the stuff first on pc anyway, and u can play with me

youll have a harder time finding people to play with on xb1 probably
I'm gonna buy it on xbone today cause I have $40 burning a hole in my pocket, but I'm still going to get it for the PC too.
alright
