I really need to play it. Right now it's sitting in my library as part of my backlog.
It's not something you complete, mind. Ypu just go on for abit, do whatever you do then go off and play something else.
It's a game to play while listening to podcasts or something, you can't just sit there ans expect to complete it.
depends how much you like the act of flying the spaceship itself I hope they release some form of flight stick or such for the Xbox One in the future, it really makes a huge difference

To me the developer is shooting itself in the foot by not having a more user friendly online to it. The players should have the option to easily group up with each other to either explore the universe or fight each other. The game will eventually get boring when all your doing is exploring by yourself with no other player contact.
the thing is I already do just that in some games if they get the exploring right, which I'm not saying is easy to do right, it would be worth it, and for games that do I have the most hours in there have been exploration based single-player games before like the original elite games, evochron mercenary, freelancer which were all very much very very well recieved games, albeit incredibly difficult to get into

What happened in Shadow Run? And could whatever that problem was be fixed by doing what Rocket League does and let you opt into Cross Play?
I guess you don't have to play against PC players in games that require aim

if it's going to run the same windows 10 in any PC, it's pretty much a desktop PC by then isn't it would it really be cross play, not that I'm against it, it would just effectively be the same platform with some hardware optimizations although that said some mice and keyboards have special drivers, not sure if it will be that close to windows 10 that you'll be able to install special drivers to run specific peripherals
